I did agree with him that they were just “using” her for clicks, which is what he said later in the tweet, but isn’t that what they would use any model for? @@knowledgeanddefense1054 Zizek never defends post-modernism, and this form of neo-Marxism that Sam promotes is closely wedded to that philosophy. Zizek actually considers the left-wing activist post modern types we have in America to be less than pond-scum, he insults them relentlessly. Their philosophy isn't like Zizeks, his is actually pro-institution and pro-social, it's just coming at things from a very Russian viewpoint.
Zizeks whole worldview is very colored by his Russian heritage. It's interesting but it's open to criticism, it's not a slam dunk case refuting Westernism or anything. Petersons view of the Logos is a pretty strong response to some of what Zizek says. Peterson does have a bit of Western idealism, and could use some more fleshing out of his viewpoint. He doesn't have a coherent moral framework (neither does Zizek) but he does have a strong remedy to the neo-marxist idiocy plaguing the West currently.
Sams case is nothing like Zizeks, Sam is just a very typical neo-marxist post modernist American idiot, and Sam doesn't even seem to be aware of the conversation.

Just so you know, this moment of Jordan Peterson talking about rape that he's referring to, JBP literally was making the argument that the current laws around sexual harrasment /r*pe are not strict ENOUGH. He was arguing from a standpoint of making things better for women, and he literally recognized in that piece that r*pe was previously a property crime, he's well aware. But what Sam likes to do with people like JBP on his show is clip out 30 seconds from the hours and hours of podcasts that the guy makes and interpret in the worst possible way, removing important context.
I’ve watched JP say multiple times women can’t expect not to be sexually harassed if we wear makeup or heels at work. We are not equal. We are made to compliment each other. We are the stabilizing force in the world, men are the chaos. Please don’t let this man brainwash you about women. If everything else helps, good. But if you don’t have a partner and want one, do not listen to him. If we feel acknowledged and seen, we will make sure you feel the same way. I had a wonderful husband for 30 years and I know how to let a man be a man, while he knew how to support and appreciate my contribution. I was the breadwinner because he got MS and had to stop working. Do I have to be sexually harassed by men to work? Does my husband deserve to have me handled like that?

I came to America in 2014 and became aware of politics when the summer of love riots happened. My sister, who was two years older, came to our diner table and talked about how the looting was justified and good. I simply said it was not, and she blew up on my and mom's face. Yes, Peterson says historically it was a crime against the owner but then he amazingly suggests that the woman was better off when it was a crime against the owner basically suggesting their was less rape back than today which is ahistorical or at the very least their is no data to support that.

I'm a biological woman, I have found Jordan Petersons talks and advise very helpful. I find it strange when people say he is only for men. I don't really see it that way, even when his talks are geared toward men I still find them helpful for me. As a mother of two boys and a husband, he has helped me understand men and boys better. Hearing him has help me realize I had a lot of childhood trauma that I just took as being normal and just the way life is. I'm a better parent now because I have overcome all that now and will not make the same mistakes as my parents.

October 2018 was when I started listening to Peterson, was a kid who dropped out of college and smoked weed and gamed 10 hours of the day working the other 6-7 averaging 32-38 hours a week. Id hook up with girls cause i had game but broke everyones hearts in the process. During the pandemic, listening to him and reading 12 rules for life I really realized how fun the world can be when you approach it a different way. I work 2 jobs managing 2 seperate places, 60 hours a week and in better shape than ever, only dating to see what girls are like, looking for someone who would be a good mother is my goal now. Still listen to him and have heard his struggles, im not here worshiping the guy but to say he wasnt the gate-way to it all would be outrageous

Since then I have adopted as much responsibility as I can, gotten married , had a beautiful baby boy, kept myself fit and healthy. Made a mense with my father and gained a partnership in the family buisness.
I have read 2 of Jordans books and attended one of his lectures and I have never been happier in life. How people can call the man toxic is beyond my understanding, he has helped so many people and my story is by no means unique.

I Made decisions I had struggled to have the courage to for years growing up. I am starting a career with the Air Force in an arguably remarkable AFSC following many of the messages and guidance he has put together through his life’s work. Recognizing that he is just a man and that I have nothing but time ahead of me comes with implications but all things considered that man has changed my life insurmountably for the better
