I'm going to look them up, sounds like a great series. For another great comic with Anthro characters, set in the past... check out Lackadaisy, about Bootlegger cats in the 1920's. It's a bit on the comical side, but does have a serious story as well.

They should have hired the guy that voiced Bigby to voice Blacksad. I think it would have been a perfect fit.
Agreed. The voice for Blacksad doesn't really fit him IMO. A more gruffier and lower voice would have been better.

I just finished Wolf among us last night. Its almost a masterpiece!!
Z try replaying wolf among us again and don’t press any buttons. Story will not change at all

Actually Blacksad predates Zootopia, Zootopia is more like what if Blacksad was a light-hearted buddy-cop movie!

The interesting thing is that, in this case, it puts you in the shoes (pawns?) of a "mixed race" character. So many of the racial slurs will be directed against you.

I absolutly love the animal-humanoid thing, that really speaks to me... very interesting.
Randomly saw this game at a GameStop and thought it was Batman on the cover for some reason. Queue hysterical laughter when seeing a serious dramatic cat appear on screen 😂 followed by a growing interest into the story/game.

Love the comics!, really looking forward to this one. If they ever do a Blacksad Animated or CGI /Lion King , Cats Movie I can really imagine Idris Elba as Blacksad( its NOT related to his skin, but his voice and acting)

A game like this would animals works for me. I've always wanted to play a game like this anyway and I love this kind of old school games.
Feels like a cross between L.A. Noire and a Ralph Bakshi movie.
Been years since I saw the comics.
The writer/artist really take their time creating the Blacksad volumes, and there is also the time it takes to translate the books from Spanish/French to English since they are originally intended for European markets.
Is this the first/single game, or have there been made previous games of this Sadcat ?
Do i have to read the comics to understand the game/world ?

They told me he's someone from Detroit Become Human! No official statement on who it is though, so I don't want to name someone incorrectly.
I love his voice - it's really characterful. Not enormously keen on the other voice acting though unfortunately

I smell Sing, Zootopia, & Law & Order had a baby, and was built around the 40s.

I actually read this comic a while back without knowing what it was (downloaded) and it was great. Nice to see it getting recognized.
So the story are all of the comics or a new story?
I actually quite like the idea of the story, I remember seeing the model of the main character online which really stuck with me.
Only concern I have is that this is a tell tale style game. There was a reason their studio filed for bankruptcy, the genre has become derivative. It looks like you guys are adapting the worst traits of the genre. This style of game is not fun, and the quick time elements only make the "game" genre frustrating.
This should have been a show or a movie, hell, pitch the idea to Netflix or something.
What do you mean? The genre has old roots and has its strong supporters. New gens simply have different taste, but its a great formula imo.

Honestly..I just love games like those.
I was hoping the gameplay would be somewhat similar to Uncharted or Arkham Asylum. Despite that, a televised form of Blacksad deserves a place on my shelf.
