- This video explains how to repressurise your boiler. First we show you how to identify whether you have an Easy-fill filling link, a Rigid filling link or Flexi filling loop. Then we explain how to repressurise your boiler using whichever filling link you have.
If your boiler has a digital pressure gauge, please watch this video: • Self help: How to rep...

You are spot on. I followed your instructions and I got my boiler back working again, many thanks.
Brilliant, thank you. Stayed at an AirBnB where the boiler needed re- pressurising and this was invaluable help
"Don't worry if its a bit stift" - the best piece of advice I got from all the videos I watched on the subject !😊
*stiff
@@stfuplsok my apologies of course
Thank you for this video. It really helped as I was at a complete loss and very stressed out.
Thanks so much, didn't realise it would be such an easy fix. Cheers!
What about when you pull the lever and nothing happens?
Really helpful and easy to follow guide. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this easy to follow video
Thanks very much for this video . Helped me a lot ❤
Top notch. I knew it was something to do with the two valves, but one of them was a bit stiff and I didn't want to break the fitting.
Great video, proper informative, just be aware that sometimes the fitting loop may not line up properly based on snagging issues from the installation, what ever you do, DONT CROSS THREAD!
Thank you .. saved me a plumber call out cost!
This video solved my issue - thanks!
Excellent video, thanks!
Thank you for the video. Very simple and easy to follow.
Mine is the flexi filling loop. We have had no problems with pressure until today (Low Pressure). The plumber showed me how to adjust it but it's been 8 months so I'd forgotten that there are 2 valves to turn. That one of the valves was hidden behind some towels didn't help me remember. 😂
Thank you for your help!!
Thank you for your help!!!❤

Thank you
Thank you ❤
Thanks!
Fab!! Thank u
Very good info
Thank you for the video. Our boiler is rigid filling link type . The copper bend was attached already and not have the cups. Do we need to remove the copper bend after pressure is ok? Without cap how we could remove it?
Thanks
Thankyou for this video.Verry informative and so easy to follow.I am shure it's helped many many people.🙂

Very helpful, I have a a rigid fitting loop with the connector pipe already fitted. Very simple and easy.
I also have a unit with the filling loop already attached. (However, on the front of the boiler it refers to my using the green lever which mine doesn't have! That was frustrating!) I don't understand why the filling loop is not installed permanently as there are shutoff valves and the video says the installer may have "already fixed the filling leak and left the filling loop in place". Since repressurizing is something that often is needed and is quite normal, why take it off at all? Any ideas?
@@TravelingToday-yu9gv it is by law not to install it permanently for safety reasons.
What is the solution if you over pressurize by going into the red area. Hot water continues to run through the pipes non-stop. The Pressure Gauge get very hot and fogs up.
Wheres the pressure release valve i need my pressure bk down
Anyway get the blue in stiff jeez having no luck with it what best way etc
How hard to you have to pull the green lever cos mine don’t seem to wanna give and I darent force it
don't* force
What iy your pressure is too high? How are we going to turn it back down?
Bleed the rads take water out
Very clear video. However, for some reason my blue valves were the other way round, so bit of a shock
Just turn them the other way then 👍
@@daveshaw5293 oh really! Would never of thought of that 🙄🙄
@@Summer-rb2ol clearly not as you said bit of a shock lol
Ours are black? Worked the same although no removable section after
@@daveshaw5293 it was the first time I had done it. Tbh, your comment makes no sense
What if it rises too high what do you do
Bleed the radiator/s.
Mine has none that it’s 2 black and yellow
same lmao, if you find out how to fix it please lmk
@@g-g__ it’s because I’ve got insulation systems fitted in one of my room upstairs, there’s something like 🚰 and black think same as the one under the boiler need lifting and turn the tap on at the same time check the pressure on the boiler as the video saying don’t let it pass middle of 1,I hope this solves the problem as it’s done mine 🙏
Same here, and I share 'not george's sentiment, LMAO! No valves for refilling at the boiler. Thanks to 'hug', we clicked that we have a tank upstairs, blue valves did nothing, but there were two black on a braided connection which filled it up. Not one CZcams video with this scenario! Took about an hour to figure out in total! 😂
Can anyone help , I have tried this and it has worked before but it’s not this time. Any suggestions, as I know you here the water as it fills and nothing!! Could be air in pipes , any suggestions 😬
Don’t forget to turn off your boiler for at least an hour before you increase pressure!
Said no one ever you're fine to use the boiler straight after been doing it for years
Very flimsy green leaver
None of them codes
No help at all
Thank you
