      Glad it was helpful! This really helps prolong the life of your servo buddy , unfortunately this isn’t set out of the factory , so a lot of the time servos die due to being over extended this takes out the guess work for you .

      @angkorpeck what servo did you go with? was it a 25T?

    • @angkorpeck
      @angkorpeck Před 22 dny

       @nahnah21 The 35kg Pro Amazon special for $35. I'm still using the stock saver, it's 25 tooth on the v2.5. I put the steering rate at 80% when I set the end points, I turn it up to 100% when I run it, I let the servo saver take care of the extra 20% over steer. The turning radius is cut in half.

    a massive well done on reaching the 600 sub mark the cannel is moving forward nicely.
    great how to video as always must admit i need to do this on my dr8 will get to it one day lol.
    one thing i did notice when you was on the head cam the front wheels looked like they was facing away from each other which was strange.
    keep up the hard work mate and you will surely get to the 1000 sub mark very soon we all hope.
    hope you and the family are all well and we have had the rubbish weather here in brum aswell.

      Hey there Peter ,
      Massive thank you for all your support buddy , so happy that you guys are happy to watch and hear me speak about my findings and how much I enjoy this hobby ! So humbled honestly .
      Yeah I would 💯 recommend you set your end points on every RTR or even new esc as it lets the esc understand your throttle position better and gives you a better feeling when driving and control ,
      As for the wheels yes it’s normal for the wheels to point outwards when having the car off the floor a basher does have a positive toe due to the nature of asking it to turn on a dime and if you look at your rc even when levelled you should have a slight amount of toe , this is exaggerated when the wheels are not touching the floor .
      Fingers crossed with the 1k mark , the channel is most definitely heading the right way and it’s all down to you guys .
      Hope you and the family are well

    Good video, i might give it a try on my Big Rock 6S, i just received it and i noticed the front wheels being very similar to the car you have there, i gave them a bit of adjustment and aligned a bit better, were they supposed to be like that? i know rear tires are usually set with a bit of toe in and some camber but not the fronts, or is that a good thing as well? i just cursed at Arrma´s quality control and gave them a couple of turns on each side.

    • @ChriswithaCrc
      @ChriswithaCrc  Před měsícem +1

      Hey buddy , are we talking about toe out or was the steering off centre ? , yes rear have toe to keep the car tracking straight at speed and help with stability in a straight line , they will be faster straight but won’t feel as stable .
      Hope this helps ,
      Stay awesome
      Chris 🤙👊🤘💪

    • @402Racing
      @402Racing Před měsícem +1

      @@ChriswithaCrc fronts had some toe out, after driving it i noticed it still has some to some degree, i'll give it a try and set it back the way it came from the factory.
      Just to be clear, i didnt mess with the rears, i only adjusted toe in the fronts so they are almost straight looking, this beast still "scares" me lol, the sounds the tires make on the concrete skate park are closer to what a real car sounds like, if that makes sense, have not really driven it at 100%, 50-75% so far, i own a FTX Carnage that goes 45mph, but this thing is bigger and weights like double.

    • @ChriswithaCrc
      @ChriswithaCrc  Před měsícem +1

      I hear you buddy they are a beast , but very addictive is the 6s range !
      Yes some toe at the front is a good idea due to helping you turn better .
      So putting it back might be a good idea . Let me know how you get on

    Hiya Chris. Hey great info mate. You know I've done the throttle setup before now but not the steering end points. I just use the steering rate knob on the transmitter to make sure it's not forcing the steering too far. I guess that the end point setup is useful if you can't get it correct in both directions using the steering rate knob. Anyway good to see it demonstrated so clearly. Has the Outcast arrived yet? I bet you take it out despite the shite weather 😂 Best wishes mate 😁

    • @ChriswithaCrc
      @ChriswithaCrc  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Hey there Pete ,
      Hope that your well buddy , thanks for watching , yeah I do it this way to then know that the servo can’t overstretch itself when I’m kicking it’s backside .
      And then it’s still allowing full motion of the steering , the dual rate I only use when I’m trying to dial in less movement when I bashing if the truck is under or over steering for example .
      Ah thanks for the kind comments it’s very hard sometimes to get the point across without faffing it all up lol 😂
      As for the outcast well no actually I’ve not taken it out yet , video came out this morning on the unboxing and first thoughts , plus I fitted some goodies to it also .
      Stay amazing Pete 🤙
