I watched your videos when looking to purchase the BMPCC4K about 4 years ago. Your practical approach was instructive and gave me the confidence to start. For me, the most valuable information was first, use the equipment, get used to it, Second, it was get the know the subject before you interview. Great post.
gear has nothing to do about it. But since I got my miller tripod, the quality of my pan and the way I'm looking for shots have been better indeed. It's not about the best camera or lense, that I agree. But sound is good to get cool quality, like a good lav as you got for exemple, a simple sound recorder are doing the job !
Actually I find filmic pro to be better because of the time code reliability. Protake is suppose to work with it but I haven’t gotten the time code to work properly. But the log profile on Protake I prefer over filmic pro so it’s a compromise depending on the situation
