Everyone involved is still alive and surly you understand one cannot say everything one knows.

I'm envious of the adventures you and so many others got to experience over the years! Very much enjoy the stories you share.
Like ,like,like
Fascinating, I could listen to these stories for a month straight.
Thanks Larry. You’re the best, although I loved hearing stories from Hank.
Great story, as always .
God Bless
That was interesting. Thankyou for the stories!
I love these stories. You go on keeping this history alive. This is one story i never heard of before.
Great new story. Stories like these I think are why we love the western U.S. the desert has a mystique about it that is like nothing else. I always have the feeling I could stumble onto some new undiscovered cache of gold, or just old, rusted junk that is just a good!
Thank you Larry for recounting the story of Kochera's gold ore. From listening to stories for years now of the legends of find gold in the Superstition mountains I can say that they just keep getting more weird. Most of the time things don't work out well for human beings and gold.
Another good 'ol tale, thanks Larry. Walt's camp is above the box in Squaw Canyon. There's a small thick Grove of ironwoods at the top of a side canyon. Walt's camp is in the middle of that grove. There used to be a faint old trail on the south side of the grove that led to the only access into the interior of the grove, where his campsite is. It's one heck of a walk to get up there, but is a darn fine campsite once you're there.
Great story thanks
One of the more interesting mysteries, for sure. Thank you, Larry. I'm going to sit right here and wait for the next one!
Sir, your retelling of these stories, brings wonderment back to my adventurous soul of my youth.
Thank You so much.
Man I miss ole' Hank. His voice at the end makes me sad.
You guys are the Bomb! Great story telling of local history.
Wow great story
PricIeless.............. I can not thank you enough.
I seen the next episode of lost gold of ww2. Theres something 300 feet down into a waterfall but next episode i believe they get 2 see a map of were the japaneese hid gold the satallite gave them 3 hits on the island
Back to the lost Dutchman I watched the unsolved mystery episode about the gold it said he dug the hole 6 feet down and used ironwood logs and parts of a stable to seal the hole up do you have a place in the mountains were alot of that type of wood is it seems it was close to a place were someone lived because of the stable wood on the report did it say the man had gold in his backpack I seen a little of the letter
The only way to better hear this story would be with a sip of whiskey around a camp fire.
Absolutely. 👍
Is there any storeys about Ray Reese and the Blue Bird Mine?? 10:57
Who’s to say those folks weren’t killed and never made it back to the camp site…. I’ve followed the lore for over a decade now and there’s lots of stories of folks who’ve gone up the mountain and never come out alive.
No disrespect however anything could have happened for sure.
What happen with the lost gold ore sample
The people of Arizona should get a petition started so you could get the law changed about searching for gold in the mountain and they should split it with you and quit being greedy
Actually Debbie it is not against the law to search and if something was found and the government verified it a treasurer trove permit could be obtained to work it if one lived long enough to survive the red tape involved.
Someone searching for the lost gold of WW2 contacted someone in Russia and they used something called nuclear magnetic residence were they used Russia satellite to take pictures of the island were they thought gold was they got a few hits I haven't seen next episode yet to see if it worked
I personally believe the government does know where mineralization exist in the Superstition.
The government knows about an asteroid millions of miles away that contains a lot of gold that they’ve never been to yet doesn’t know where gold is to be found on earth? I’ve always wondered why they made it a wilderness and stopped the ability to file a claim in the first place.
So what about the gold that came missing from the museum? You started the last story and never went back? You led us to believe that there was something intertwined or coming back to the missing gold? SMH

Everyone involved is still alive and I’m not about to drop names and get sued. I’m sure you must understand one cannot say everything one knows.
