When Corpus was saying “20 minutes before the stream i was cutting my face with razer blades.”, and “I f*cking hate myself, like deeply.” I felt so bad for him. He doesn’t deserve to go through that. I wanted to put on a blindfold and give him a hug.
I wholeheartedly agree and I really hope things can get better for him someday... Even if it is gradual, it feels like he's been through a lot and I just want to help but I have no clue how it would be possible to. All I can say is I hope his life and health gets better.
It’s something that a small amount of people can sadly relate to (aka me), so him openly going “oh yeah I hurt myself because of my mental illness” n shit is honestly comforting, as bad as that may sound. Like no I may not have cut my own face, but I have definitely sat in my room, gave myself some ✨lines✨ and then 20 min later gone out with friends or something. I wish I could just give him a hug and just like, lay on a roof n watch the stars or something wholesome like that. Lord knows he deserves it.
All seriousness aside, my weebness went “yet another reason he should voice Dabi” cause I mean, dabi’s got scars everywhere, corpse prolly does too based on that information, plus the black hair, the hiding his identity, the wholesome yet kinda menacing vibes, the was hella active and then something out of his control changed everything, and the “I like fucking with the world” and “hopefully I can keep inciting chaos” stuff. And like, corpse’s voice totally fits what Dabi looks like. Like perfectly. I would pay so much money to see that happen.

"Mourning ever having a normal life"
Man I felt that so hard. I was so angry and lost when my chronic illnesses started. It was awful. My therapist helped so much with that mourning process. I'm starting to get a bit more able to do things I want to do, but on bad days sitting upright longer than a few hours is painful. Other people talking about things like that is really great. Chronic illness is lonely, but we're not alone.

I too have crippling anxiety among other disorderes that make my life alot more difficult that it should be, and that has impacted my life for years. Its comforting to say the least, to know i am not alone.

I suffered with anxiety for 5 years until I got therapy and then treated with meds. now 2 years later I’m off meds and feel in control of myself. It takes a lot to just seek for help but it really will save ur life

I’d be totally fine with him never showing his face. Anxiety is no joke and there’s always going to be awful people. The personality is what I followed for, I feel like seeing his face would just be too weird at this point.

I remember when i had a really deep voice, its not as deep as Corpse but it was there. I changed my voice to have a higher tone due to the strange reactions i got from just talking naturally deep. I'm learning to appreciate my natural deep voice now from Corpse. Thank you and i hope everything still stays well.
I have a voice incredibly close in pitch to corpse's bc I've ALSO had GERD forever + a genetically deep voice, and people compare me to corpse ALL THE TIME but I've learned to ignore it by now

I totally get that. Originally I wrote music reviews and noone knew what I looked like. I was a 16 year old w braces and I couldn't even get into a club to see the live music (I'd just get the cds sent to me.).
I film beauty reviews now so I do have to technically be in front of a camera but I can just do the written review if I'm having a rough day (I have lupus/chronic pain).

@@bentaylor395 he said that there are no pre-youtube photos of him with his face fully in them, and he doesn't talk to people that he doesn't know so that no one will recognize his voice. i don't think it's inevitable, it seems 50/50 to me. but if anything i think he'll probably reveal his face before anyone gets the chance to leak it.

I have Transverse Myelitis and hearing corpse talk about his issues and being diagnosed really resonated with me. It gets better, I think for me, not knowing that it’s completely incurable for a while, and realising I’ll be deteriorating as I’ll get older is hard. But it doesn’t define you, and it gets better and you’ll learn to cope with it, and there’s always medication to get back your feet.

I think it's cause we can know that he's not faking who he his for attention, yk? It makes you feel better to like someone who you know is genuine about who they are and what they say than it would be to like some celebrity that probably puts up an act for the cameras and has someone give them a script on what to say and what not to say.

i respect him so much, he knows better to not show his face because who knows what people will say about him. i just wish him to be happy and to reach his goals. theres nothing wrong with being anonymous and hes been for years so people should just leave him alone and accept what he chooses to do with his life.
Dang, when he was talking about his Nerve issues it hit home for me. I've struggled with nerve problems and other chronic pain issues my whole life and really related to it. The pain and not being able to do what you used to be able to do really screws with you. I already related to his mental struggles with anxiety and then I also have severe depression, but then finding out about this on top of it makes me really relate. Not entirely the same experiences but I feel for him.

These are the stories that absolutely break my heart. Humans can be so cruel and I can’t wrap my head around it. The fact that he’s suffering from so many chronic illnesses along with the failures of humanity just isn’t fair. I don’t even know much about the guy, but I can empathize deeply.
Corpse is such a kind soul and should be protected. His face is irrelevant, and we should all respect his choice to stay anonymous. If I ever came across him in the street and somehow recognized him, I wouldn't even let him know it. The amount of stress and anxiety that would cause him would be heartbreaking.

I've always said this, I honestly don't thi k too much about what people look like.
When I first heard corpse voice I said I wonder what he looks like but then I watched his vidoes and decided its okay I'm fine not knowing what these youtubers faces look like.
Corpse is relatable in a lot of ways and I feel like we can understand where he comes from and from a person who also struggles with anxiety and depression I get not wanting to be around people and stuff
Corpse is really wholesome and I love watching his vidoes and hearing his voice it's very calming
My first thought that I can remember was "HOLY SHIT I LOVE YOUR VOICE WHAT"
But I also realized afterwards that I had watched his videos before but his voice wasn't that deep at the time
