    For those that are new and missed the update, yes I did have the issue fixed. I've replaced the low pressure pump in the tank, and had the injectors serviced when I rebuilt the motor... czcams.com/video/8tZL_6nbzIw/video.html
    Answers to FAQ: No it was not the fuel sensor, not the fuel regulator. this was caused by lack of fuel pressure from the tank to the motor. hence why I've replaced it.

    When the top timing chain from the diesel pump to the cams wears, it retards the timing quite a bit. I just did a complete timing chain and tensioner change and my N47 now runs like a Swiss watch once warmed up…all diesels sound like a busted tractor when they are running cold at first start for the day 😉

    sounds like the high or low pressure fuel pump / low pressure is the cheapest you should check what pressure the fuels is when the engine isnt running but you can hear the pump priming EG when u open the door after the car has slept and work from there
    im also surprized you still have your swirl flaps fitted

      Changed the tank pump a few weeks back, still cuts off however its not as bad as before, so im narrowing it down to timing and dirty injectors which i'm going to pull out and have cleaned

      Did you check fuel filter ? Has it ever been changed *nvm seen its new* what pressure is the fuel rail reading

      Pressure is meeting specified value, only at top end its down by 100bar according to the diagnostic machine

      @@Realpreshaanb I can't remember the values but fuel rail when running should be about 3000/4000psi and I think the lift pump should be in the hundreds

      Correct, on closed circuit it reads 10bar (145psi) on idle its 314bar (4500psi) on load its 1400bar (20000psi) however on peak power the specified is 100bar more than actual that's around 4000rpm

    Could it not be your fuel pressure censor or fuel pressure regulator on your fuel rail.

    Hi..how to know the symptoms of fuel injector failure? Mine seem like miss fire

      It would start will misfires, any change in fuel pressure will cause it, sometimes it will surge in pressure, sometimes fuel pressure will be low... Best to do a diagnostic on the car to monitor live data

      Have the car scanned and read out fault codes to know where the issue lies

      @@Realpreshaanb i did get it scan but only reading glow plugs fault codes which cant stop the car from starting.. i have a feeling its the fuel rail sensor..im getting fuel to the high pressure pump and out the pump to the rail but eint getting fuel from rail to injectors

    Does it cause blowby?because ive see lots of oil in your intake...

      The excessive amount of oil in the intake was due to the PCV not functioning properly. Since the video, i've rebuilt the motor and addressed most of the major issues

      Car ranaway in feb of that year, damaged low pressure fuel pump and 2 injectors... Got the car running off camera but always had an injector hiccup since then so this was to demonstrate how to replace the injectors in hopes that would solve it, i did not, so i redid everything while i rebuilt the motor in 2022

      Fuel filter is new, tried another fuel rail prior and the car didn't rev up past 2k

    My intake manifold did not come off as easy as you made it look. There were all sorts of electrical crap stuck to the bottom. My backs fucked I've had enough gonna scrap the pice of shit.

      Been there the first time i removed my manifold. Which is why i disconnected all electronic plugs and vacuum lines... Helps that i have small hands😅

      Still haven't "solved" it, just living with it... Narrowed it down to in tank fuel pump and to double check the engine timing properly before second guessing anything

      EGR signals Coded out + stage 1 done in 2019... Hardware still on the car since there's no kits available locally or internationally

    Why didn't you show how you removed the other 3 fuel injectors, in most cases injectors can't be removed as easily as you removed the first injector.

      All 4 came out perfectly the way i showed... If you're experiencing difficulties removing them, that mean you need additional leverage

    I've got this same engine,
    I have puddles around the injectors and get the old bit of smoke that also comes into the car, smells like burning plastic 🤮

      Depends on what puddles are forming is where you need to pay attention to, if its fuel then check along your fuel lines to and from the injectors, if its oil, then look into replacing your valve cover gasket or worse so it could be oil pushing out the injector ports from within the combustion chamber

      @@Realpreshaanb it is definitely diesel and is around the top of all 4 injectors but mainly No.2.
      Car runs a bit lumpy from start but ok when warmed up.
      When turning engine off there is also a bit of a shake.

      I would suggest take a look at the flexible return hose and the fittings itself, if not the injector top itself, the vehicle will run lumpy as a result of these having a problem, shake could be the motor mounts itself or an issue while shutting the motor off due to incorrect fuel pressure

      Yeah i did that before, didn't make a difference, it was resolved once i changed the in tank fuel pump and after i rebuilt the motor

      @@Realpreshaanb it's sound like the fuel system have contaminated. You would find that our buy cutting the fuel filter to see if there are any metal dust collected in the filter cells.🤷🏻‍♂️

      I could have done that but like I've said, it was cutting out due to the in tank pump not providing enough pressure on boost, that along with the timing being off as well as some other factors (which have already been addressed) is what caused the issue
