    That was AMAZING stuff, extraordinary skills!
    But stay on the safe side, overconfidence can sometimes be a bit too dangerous... Try and treat your next jump as you would treat your first one ever!

    I stick with wingsuit as safer method, but my god that is awesome. At the end the wingsuiter on top of the tracker was able to glide away better then tracker on say a bad jump nearly cost him his life. I respect you all in the new sport of Tracking as you all have more balls then me. Please be safe and live as i died already at 16yrs old for 5mins and got brought back to life, meaning life is worth living as don't let go guys don't let go. • @antoinelaporte9335
      @antoinelaporte9335  Před 6 lety +4

      It is not because he has a wingsuit that he can glide away, it's because I totally fucked up the exit that I got so close.
      Wingsuit is most of the time more dangerous than tracking, because exit an opening are more tricky,. Tracking is more dansgerous for proximity flight above objects because you have less lift in case you need some, but you can jump without doing proximity fliying, not without exiting and opening.
      BTW god will not bless me as I do not belieive in any god, I prefer to live for now and not for a possible after.

      @@antoinelaporte9335 You seem to have some strong aversion to the concept of a God. You've went out of your way multiple times to point it out. It comes off as a bit childish. When someone says "God bless you", or something like that, you just take it as a compliment. Not many people are going to go out of their way to insult someone's beliefs especially when they are wishing you well. You seem to like to argue a lot in general. I noticed this on Basejumper.com. You often get into petty arguments.
      Next time someone says, "God bless you", just say, "Thank you", or don't reply to it at all, but only a real douche bag will point out that they are so superior and so don't believe in God. Laughable.

    • @antoinelaporte9335

      @@everythingviral972 so if I follow what you said if I wish "no God can bless you but i do", which is my strong belief, you will take it as a compliment ?
      I've seen multiple people went out to point out they are believing in God by saying "god bless you" and it hurts my belief that there is no god.
      I do not go out with my belief unless somebody is going out with is, I'm not superior, but I'm not inferior.
      If some people don't want to ear about my belief they just can imagine it's the same for me and keep their belief to themselves.

      Mainly you have no moving restriction so you can run at the exit and grab your toggle immediatly after opening.
      But tracking and wingsuiting are 2 differents way of flying. Tracking is more body flying, wingsuiting is more piloting a wingsuit.
      For me there is not one better than the other, just 2 fun things to do, and I like both.

    So, what exactly is tracking?

    • @error.418
      @error.418 Před 7 lety +1

      It's falling while converting as much of the energy into forward motion as possible via a specific body position and optional the use of special suits. A tracking suit is designed to help you do this better by inflating the legs and arms of the suit, and to some extent the body. A tracking suit does not have wings, and you position your body so that you catch the air in a specific way and use it to convert as much motion forward and as little motion downward as possible. It's relatively safer than wingsuing as your arms and legs are not "trapped" by the wings. This allows you to handle parachute malfunctions much easier, and deployment is safer as there is a smaller burble and less restriction of motion in the deployment procedure. Tracking suits have come a long way and are able to provide more and more of these desired effects. But you can track without a special suit. Originally tracking was used as the body position and method to move quickly away from each other in freefall in skydiving in order to deploy safely far away from each other after performing group formations in the sky. Then it was used in BASE to get away from the object from which you jumped (cliffs, buildings, antennae, etc). Now it is used for that as well as flying precisely close to objects and then away for deployment.

    • @roguetrooper2324
      @roguetrooper2324 Před 6 lety +2

      its when you flatten your body out like a board in the air,u start sliding a lil in the air rather then just falling down like a rock...something like that,see how his tracking suit are baggy,they catch the air and helps you glide further while you track....maybe someone else can explain it better...(nudge,nudge..Antoine)

    • @antoinelaporte9335
      @antoinelaporte9335  Před 6 lety +2

      This is not wingsuiting, this is tracking ;)
      Equipment : you can find a used one for 2000$ that will last at least 3 years if you are an average jumper. After you will have to change the canopy for 1500$ for the next 3 years and again and again
      I'm making my own suits, but it's pretty easy to get used once for less than 1000$
      Traveling : I'm traveling in my van, sleeping in it, eating in it, showering just aside it,...
      Going up : I'm walking most of the time so 100$ to 200$ a year for the shoes
      I can easy live and move around with 1000-1200$ a month and still be able to keep every month some money to change my equipment.

    • @Eltern10
      @Eltern10 Před 6 lety +1

      Thank you very much for your response! I am Austrian, I will get my parachute jump training this summer here in Vienna. I heard that you need to have 200 jumps to start wingsuit flying, so that will make it a bit expensive, but I am going to do it anyway ;)

    • @antoinelaporte9335
      @antoinelaporte9335  Před 6 lety +2

      Yes skydive training is expensive but needed for basejump.
      You will need 200 jumps for jumping a wingsuit in skydive, but I would recommend to do the same for basejump and do at least 200 basejumps before wingsuit in base.
      Wingsuiting is cool, but almost everything is cool in basejump. I have over 1000 basejumps, only 160 are wingsuits and I did most of them 3 years ago.
