They do such a great job paralleling the lives of different characters throughout the show. I think the clips of Jon and Jordan are a great example of being in a superhero family and getting to have this happy normal life and relationship (Jon) and being a superhero and training while neglecting and not being able to maintain a relationship (Jordan).

Imma be honest I feel like Jordan is already getting better then clark just because of the training aspects. He has already made more progress then clark when he was younger and actually knows hand to hand combat unlike clark who uses brute strength
Clark clearly does not just use brute strength in this series. We saw him take out several powered kryptonians, as well as defeat several trained soldiers while he was being weakened. He’s repeatedly defeated combatants who are both trained and have super powers, even while exposed to kryptonite or red sun radiation.
You know exactly why flash or super girl or arrow only ever show up in each others shows for crossovers it directs too much out the main person of their own respected shows Supergirl is on anymore and arrow isn't as Oliver's dead Barry's doing his own thing with season 8 then they have to collaborate why he was there and all its just tv man they're focused on 1 guy and they're worried that anyone well would just steel the show ( for anyone saying he know I know I'm not trying to consdescens in short TV producers don't like getting other actors either for budget or take away from story to make easy solutions to there would be no show)
If I'm not mistaken the Supergirl and Superman & Lois shows are in the same universe (the Arrowverse) but the shows are set in different worlds. That's why they don't really cross anymore. That’s why Supergirl can’t really come on when Superman is missing.
