I took Gabriel to our Church The Pentecostals of Katy, Texas and this was all done as an improv last minute after the service. He had only 5 min. of rehearsal with the full POK Choir on this version of Oh Happy Day and then they let it rip and had some Church! FYI - The name of the church is The Pentecostals of Katy (Katy, Texas is in West Houston). The other singer's (choir dir) name is Shara McKee. This was recorded after our Sunday 6PM service. Gabriel is one of the kindest & most humble people you will ever meet. So talented.

Yes, you should make a concerted effort to visit their church. 💯 guarantee you will not regret your visit.
Her name is Shara McKee she's not just the choir director- She's our Pastors Wife. Look her up ! You wont't be disappointed!! She has her own music as does her daughters and the church. Come see us but not on a Sunday morning you'd be disappointed if you want the choir. We sing on most Sunday nights church starts at 6pm! I think the choir has the last Sunday of the month off most of the time or we atleast try to but doesn't always happen. We are right outside of Houston!!! For real COME SEE US!!! This was actually a pretty laid back song for us. I think you'd enjoy her with us.

He was taken by surprise, Luke! I was at my cousins' house before going to LA. No rehearsal! He went to church with his family and they invited him to sing.
She is the leader of the choir. He sang "Goodness of God" and sang another song with her: him singing in Portuguese and she singing in English. It was fantastic!

He did really well, but it would have been so much better with a big nice choir behind.
I was there and he is absolutely singing those whistle notes. He did it many times and it seemed effortless. The choir director is Shara McKee and she has many albums with and without the choir. Look for “Behold Zion” to hear one of my favorites.
