"We want every lyric to b tattooable" -Spencer. Every band should think that way. Songs take on power of their own after its written and received. Everyone interprets things differently. A good, meaningful song can mean more to someone than anything. Thanks for the great songs Ice Nine Kills. Awesome insight.

Spencer's description of pop is PERFECT: "Partying at the club or a lame breakup song". That is why I will always and forever choose Hard Rock and Heavy Metal to be my musical genres of choice. Thank you, INK!

I mean metalcore has pop influences. Often the entire song structure resembles that of a pop song. That's why metalcore tends to be more catchy than traditional metal. They essentially mastered catchy with a message.

Nu metal blends heavy metal with basically everything, with it varying band-to-band. Pop, death metal, thrash, hardcore, industrial, alternative, punk, gothic, electronic, hip-hop... it goes on.

I think it's time they write an original story. Do a horror concept album. Tell an entirely original story throughout a full-length record.

I listen to damn near everything except for trap, club pop, and most other pop. (Some pop slaps, nobody can deny it.)
But from Marty Robbins, to INK, to The Ink Spots, to A Day to Remember, to George Jones, to Green Day, ect. INK is special. It's a love letter to horror.

The official story behind "Thank God Its Friday"
There was this child named jason. He was bullied because he didnt look the same as everyone else to the point that these bullies drown him in a lake. His mom then kills the people who let the bullying happen and them they killed her. So jason came back to life but this time as a minnie but scary grown up called "kane hodder" and he gets his revenge on everyone who goes to the lake where he drown.
