  • President Yoweri Museveni has spoken out on the arrest and prosecution of former coordinator of Intelligence Agencies Gen. David Sejusa. The President, who was addressing journalists at his country home in Rwakitura, Kiruhura district, said he was yet to find out the charges preferred against Gen. Sejusa. On Wednesday, the decorated bush war hero was charged in the Court Martial with offences related to disobedience of lawful orders, conduct prejudicial to good conduct in the army and desertion. Speaking on the controversy surrounding the former spy chief’s retirement, the president said soldiers like Gen. Sejusa, who he described as troublesome, could not be let off before they are put in the correct line.
