Salvia is no joke, I had a buddy go insane and end up in psych ward for a month, tried to jump out the window while he was in there, and never fully recovered, he's just a shell of his former self.... It was really sad
My most interesting trip doing salvia, I was a single cell in the human body, accompanied by thousands of other cells. We were all a bunch of smiley faces visually, happily doing our job, until I realised the row of cells beyond me were dying and I was getting closer to the death row. I started panicking like, "Fuck, I don't wanna die, man!" All the other cells became disturbed by my panic, which helped straighten me out. I realised it's all part of our collective journey. So in the end, I just accepted it. It was the most peaceful moment I've ever experienced. Now, I don't fear death. It's honestly not that bad.
When I did salvia I turned into a piece of coral living in the ocean and was just going with the flow of the waves it was the most bizarre yet strangely spiritual experience of my life

Learned that lesson the hard way after wrestling my salvia induced friend around a hotel room for 10 minutes. No regard, or really any awareness of anything around him. Afterwards, he said he thought he was in outer space, and for very brief moments when he'd hear my voice and be able to see me, he thought he was peering through holes in the space-time continuum. In my Salvia experience, I saw swirling patterns and became a beam of light, meeting energy beings in a strange planet with fiery oceans and swirling skies. I felt connected to the universe, like I merged with a nebula. Coming back, I felt at peace and amazed, like I'd seen how everything connects.

Tried Salvia almost 10 years ago. Decided to hop in my car (no keys to drive it) and I genuinely was watching myself sit in a car from 3rd person view like GTA. Buddy said it was around 4 minutes but I felt like I was driving a car in grand theft auto 3rd person with a 4K VR headset for a few hours. never again lol
See Depersonalization and Derealization - i had this twice in my life after weed bong hit - lasted about 4hours. Very scary for the first time, also couldn't feel my body, i was in control, but like a character in a video game, couldn't focus, couldn't add 2 + 2, felt pretty disabled mentally. Second time it got me i thought - I will sleep it off... laid down and after 10 seconds i knew i will not fall asleep, insted i got some sort of channeling through my heart chakra and was "speaking" with thoughts with IDK felt like a god/creator/center of the universe but the strong power of love it was pumping through my heart felt like a mother's love. I was asking existentional questions, and when the answer was Yes it pumped so much energy that i got tingling in my whole body. I never felt more happier in my life after it's revelation even though i thought i was going crazy, you only read/watch about this stuff never experience. I learned that we are all one collective being, and we're here on Earth to experience life with all its ups and downs, to feel emotions (even extreme emotions of sadness and happiness). It's been many years and i still remember it clearly, yet still don't know what to think about all this...
Psychedelic rules: 1. The basics you always hear - don’t trip completely alone , know your dosage, don’t trip with shitty friends, intention setting and prior mood will determine your trip, always test, etc 2. Open space even if it’s indoors, comfy couch or bed nearby, minimal clutter, get things clean first. Snacks water everything you need should be within arms reach, easy to use, non spill 3. Don’t worry about when the trip ends trust me, act like a tourist. Learn their customs explore the land and stay open minded. if I’m anxious about time I wear a watch (not recommended for beginners - I do this when I’m trip sitting especially) 4. Have something to stimulate yourself during, finger painting really works but journaling or music if you’re more coherent is also great 4. Take good care of yourself after. Do not abuse these tools. Trips should be taken sparingly, we all need to go home at some point! ALSO there are trip killers. A common one is risperidone as as it’s probably already around you if you have an antipsychotic prescription. Pls research how to specifically use but if anything seems to go too south they can be helpful in an emergency when used correctly. If you are trip sitting find a way to get a trip killer. Always do research first, both online and through experienced people you can try to meet. Safe travels
Risperidone ? Are you out of your mind? Maybe a handful of clozapine and a deathbed letter. If you require anti psychotics after psychedelics then you shouldn't go near them in first place.
I think a benzodiazepine would be better for trip killer. spifically flunitrazepam or maybe midazolam because it kick in very fast. Lorazepam is also a great trip killer
My experience was terrifying. At first I was living in a clown city. full of clowns and the environment was clownish. I knew I was tripping and kept telling myself it will pass. Then the high wasn’t going away so I had convinced myself that I was trapped in that world that I had gone insane and I literally thought to myself that the outside me, my physical body was inside an asylum. The trip lasted like three minutes but felt like an eternity.
i had a very hard ego death on salvia. I accepted my death and that it did not matter what i had done, i was dead and in the shadow realm. Then it morphed into a looping nightmare for what felt like an eternity. edit: would also say that i've had positive experiences, but this one time it went way to far. I've seen myself in third person, looking down on my room while everything else outside of the room was dark. Like a 3d animated room. I've talked to entities who said i was not supposed to be there while looking at myself. Salvia was probably the best "High" ive ever had. I was told it lasted 15ish minutes. I was walking around a massive, goes on forever mansion. Every room was "Alive". The plats, chairs, pool water etc. The house was telling me its history, and what happened there. It was so peaceful.

The mortgage company took possession of the property but couldn't sell it at auction. The absurd floorplan, gaudy fixtures, and bad location are just a few of the turnoffs to any potential buyer, which has led to the property remaining vacant.
When i did salvia years ago, we had quiet peaceful music, a dark room, several friends who were quiet and we all went one at a time. No talking. No asking if you feel it. Just laying on the couch with almost nothing but your mind to take you somewhere. It was a great experience. I have yet to see a video of a setup to take people to a good place, instead they fill the room with stimuli almost hoping people react badly for internet clicks.

I've taken LSD and had shrooms. LSD a few times, and completely laughed my a** off, which my sides hurt for days lol. Shrooms only once and I experience what I was hoping for. Now that's not saying it doesn't cause I have friends that say they've had amazing experiences on shrooms.

I had some of the worst trips of my life on salvia. The worst one was when I was like 14 I took it in a park and shortly after the entire ground just disappeared and I fell down into a black void of nothing. My back was facing down and I just saw the hole of reality I fell through getting smaller and smaller. Everything got black in the end. I could not even see my own body. I feel like I fell for days before I landed in this field of nothing. I walked around, but could not feel my feet. I tried to grab or touch things, but nothing existed. I felt like I died and had been placed in this empty void between the layers of reality. It was horrible. Another time I almost jumped out a window because I thought my room was a microwave.
My salvia trip was insaine. I got into a car accident and my dad was coming to pick me off the ground. As he went to lift my head, my head tirned into pages like a book. Each page was a flash image of my life. Super crazy
Psilocybin saved my life. I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in November. I have zero cravings. This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment.

Me and my friends have tried salvia a few times. My coolest Moment was a 500x. I swear I took too much where I actually had control over myself while tripping. The world around me just changed. As soon as I looked up I seen all the trees in the sky looking down at me and every molecule of colour has been swapped with their opposite colour , the dirt became so purple, it started to merge with neon coloured grass and shot out into the horizon. They are all related to the mint family but only the divinorum variant is psychoactive(there might be one of two others that I'm blanking on but the one every one smokes is divinorum.) There are two ways to effectively consume the plant and that's through making a quid of the leaves(this is the least effective route). And smoking is the other route and is the most effective and yes you can just smoke plain leafs with no extract but most people buy extracts like 10x,20x,40x,etc. Also for anyone wondering the psychoactive chemical salvinorin a is so potent it is active in micrograms

I agree. Salvia is known to induce dysphoria. When I did it the imagery was amazing but an overwhelming fear of dying came with it that made me never want to try again. Salvia had its shine in the late 90’s and early 2000’s but these days everyone is vaping DMT instead. Much more enjoyable and predictable.

It's so wild that this - possibly the most potent hallucinogen on the planet - was easily purchasable in gas stations in 50x extract form. I did a bong rip of 50x extract with some friends in college and became a tree - with absolutely zero recollection of being anything else. Humans were chaotic buzzing gnats that were extremely frightening because I knew they could hurt me, but they were just a buzzing blur. My perception of time was WILDLY different than that of a human.

When I was 18 I tried salvia on a hike with a few friends. I grabbed ahold of a tree and saw myself become part of the tree. My hand and arms were covered in tree bark as I merged with the tree and I whispered to my friends. “I can’t move, I’m a tree”
This stuff is no joke. Feels like forever but only lasts a few minutes. One hit of some strong salvia extract made me hit the ground and feel like I was infinitely falling into it. I was rolling on the floor uncontrollably laughing feeling as if I was being sucked into the floor at a very high speed in this waterfall of colors and repeating patterns. I felt as felt as if I had no grounding in the world around me. Like I couldn't locate myself in time or space. After what felt like an unmeasurable amount of time later, I snapped back to reality in an extreme state of confusion not able to speak for several minutes. Total mind bending and unsettling (and not very pleasant) experience that only lasts about 15 minutes but stays with you for a lifetime.
I was stuck for eternity in one of those old carnival tube rides where it rotates and you walk through it and each panel is a different color. Except I was the tube. I couldn’t remember anything of my life or more so I couldn’t remember anything other then there was a before. There was something safe and happy before this. That’s what made it pure hell. I knew that this was not supposed to be reality but I’ve been here forever and I will be here forever, there’s no leaving. Even worse is my form had feeling. It felt like there was 5000 kilos of weight on top of me (or that’s what it feels like to be metal). With every rotation it was a loop. I was being flattened into a pancake, rolled into a ball and flattened back down at every rotation. It wasn’t painful physically but the most terrible sensation ever. Like your form is malleable 5 ton ball of dough. The sensation is immense weight and then stretched out like taffy until fully flat like a pancake and then back into a ball, over and over. I finally started coming to where my memories were coming back and the rotation got slower, colors got dimmer. I started to feel my body, my arms. I felt as if I was made of extremely heavy and malleable clay and if I could just fight this I just might be able to leave this hell. I fought with all my might and sometime later I fully snapped back into reality, my body worked, I could see my room normally. I pulled myself out of the tube somehow. I jumped up so fast and threw the salvia in the trash bin. Looked at the clock and 2 1/2 minutes passed. It really felt like it was eternal. Eternal isn’t really nuanced enough. It was more as if this is what was and this is what will always be. No beginning or end, no memories of anything else other then this is not my true form.
I had a very similar experience. I was turned into an human machine. It was a big wheel of mettalic mechanical balls. , I was being folded in every way possible. And everytime I made an attempt to run away I was outside the ball for 0.5 seconds, got sucked into the ball again right away. I thought that I had woken up in the real world and that I discovered the real world, and that I would be tormented for the rest of my life .with all these other people in the machine. I felt their fears also , they were slaves of sinister aliens/demons. It feels like I had served like 50 years of working in the machine.

@@ginseng2005 I think it was about 6 minutes until I could think clearly again. It definitely felt longer but I wouldn’t say it felt like weeks or months the way some people report. I only did 10x which is one of the lowest strengths. I could not imagine what like 100x would do.
Doing salvia was the scariest few minutes of my entire life. They promise you a shroom-like trip but instead the gravity pulls you down to the floor while your vocal cords repeatedly cycle up and down as you laugh uncontrollably against your own will. i did 20x first time i was 25 years old -- grew up fairly religious and had done some experimenting with shrooms and then acid a few years before as part of a rebelious phase. im 38 years old -- salvia is still a defining moment of my life well above everything else I've ever done. I was on a beach in the sand, we cleared a big area away from everything so if someone did jump up they would fall into sand. From the inhale feeling like I was breathing spikes, to the spinning, twisting almost rolling back of reality to the layer just before "outside" of time/space, the feeling of being locked between dimensions in a nitherworld with a demonic feminine "being" laughing that she has trapped you with her forever... to the coming back to reality and feeling inspired and connected to everything from the reverse hang over... over time the memory is still alive like it was yesterday. I really did think I broke reality when I took it. No one else had that kind of level of feeling, just seeing silly stuff and feelings of panic. For me it was like I had a window into the heavens, all that I had read about had a level of weight to it -- all the while totally understanding that I had experienced an altered state of reality. I tried it again like 6 months later but was too scared to fully inhale so I only partially separated, it felt more like waves of disconnect with panic, 10/10 recommend trying it once, 0/10 don't recommend a second time lol.

Independent minds (those that express honesty at all times in all ways) appear introverted. They avoid conflict and drama socially. They reject fear shared by others. When people lie about what they are on the inside and focus on acting skills and head games, it creates anger (judgement) in others. It gives some personalities a false sense of “power”. Wow I can relate. I tripped hard like this when I took it years ago. I was being eaten by the couch and my friends heads were floating off their bodies. One friend was wearing a plaid sweater and when I looked at them it became the whole wall behind them. I looked at the ceiling fan and it turned into a bunch of crows flying in circles. Talk was super slow motion. Arms we’re on fire. Tried to grab my beer off the coffee table and it turned to wax I could pick it up but it stretched from the table and I tried to drink pouring it all over my face thinking I wasn’t getting anywhere with it lmao. In my salvia trip, I felt like I had woken up into a world full of emotionally unavailable people who have no interest in anything to do with furthering the collective of human society. Instead they all felt as if they had to chase an unobtainable goal their whole lives and it was insane. I watched people step on each other, kill, betrayal from all angles. The whole shebang. Although in this long lasting trip I had, I would still see good happening but I couldn't pay attention to it because the only thing people wanted to talk about or communicate with me for was the pursuit of there own trivial wants not needs. I had a horrible trip on that devil of a leaf. I was sitting in my buddies car and ripped a good one. Then I turned into the seat I was sitting in and couldn’t move no matter how hard I tried. I was a fucking seat of a car… literally. My arms were arm rests, and my face was a head rest. All I could do was look side to side as the rest of the car repeatedly got hit by a train over and over and over again for what seemed like 5 hours. Each time was just as scary as the first. Then when I finally “melted” back into my self and the world was normal, my feet felt wet for another 3-4 hours in real time. Fuck that shit. Never again.
Had a friend that insisted salvia doesn't do anything. We lived in the middle of nowhere and I packed a big bowl for him outside. I could tell he genuinely didn't think anything was gonna happen. It was hilarious and he was a good sport about it.
In highschool, one of my friends at one of those bowls shaped like a revolver cylinder. It has 6 little One-hitter sized bowls that rotated to the main pipe. They used to play a game called "trip roulette" where they'd load 5 bowls with straight weed and 1 with salvia extract a little weed on top so you couldnt tell which was which. Yep, I've never typed out a life story on CZcams but have always enjoyed reading them. I was glad to read everyone else was left as terrified as I was. My story goes like this, a group of us bought a bag of 80X and we decided we were all going to smoke a rip at the same time and trip together which was a bad idea. Salvia is interesting because of how quickly it takes over, with just one bowl from a bong smoked and held for 10 seconds. The exhalation was like I was being zipped away into a massive backpack and reality faded. My soul decided to leave my body and I rose above the house all the way up into the sky and then into space, as I drifted away info space watching the Earth disappear for what I thought was forever. While drifting the Earth turned into a black ball, and then like a family guy skit my perspective zoomed quickly to a wide screen and now the Earth was being paddled against a paddle ball board. I don't remember coming back to Earth or how I came back to reality but I remember everyone else seemed okay, and I was shook! For me it too felt like I was gone for 100s of years, my body and mind felt as if I travelled across the world 100 times. I ended up feeling super anxious and kind of weirded out by the whole thing and had to sleep it off. It was maybe mid afternoon when I took it and I slept until that evening sometime after dinner. I felt fine after my nap and was relieved that I was able to shake off that awful feeling, I know its not LSD or acid or shrooms, but it ruined all psychedelics for me. I have done micro doses of mushrooms since then but max is ever .5g. I also chose to do this with friends I wasn't super enthralled with, it was a high school spur of the moment type thing. Oh yeah I tried DMT once too, in a dark basement no light or noise, and nothing.
Had a friend who took it. Nothing was happening until he realized there were more people in the room than at the start. These people were looking creepy. Finally, they said "Do you want us to show you what reality really is?" He said "Nooooooo!", but they ripped back the 3D facade of the room and showed him everything in our life is just a lower dimension and they control everything. When he finished, he thought "that was weird" but he kind of also believed it for months.
I ordered some online many years ago and me and a buddy tried it in a friends apartment. We went into a bedroom and closed the door and then sat on the ground while we smoked it. Right when the trip started coming on someone had popped their head in the door asking us how it was and all I remember is that the sounds of them talking to us were rushing into the room like waves of water. They weren't even really being loud, but the waves of sound were kind of intense. At the same time, me and my friend said "Shut that damn door!" and afterwards he was telling me that he basically had the same experience. Always thought that was weird.
That forward fold, or forward motion is something that I’ve seen in every Salvia trip, myself included. It’s like waves of insanity overcome you and take you under to experience a long history of events, in microseconds. Interesting, but it’s something that I’ll never do again.
My buddy Reese tried salvia for the first time when he was 15-16, after having experience with other psychedelics like DMT and acid. Idk how much he smoked, but he claims he spent 30 years living as a completely different guy with a normal life, a job, wife, kids, etc. Says it was extremely vivid and one day he went to bed just woke up back at his friend's house as a teenager. Scary shit. I think I'll just stick to shrooms.
Craziest most mind blowing experience of my life. It was one of the worst things that ever happened to me in the short term, but in the long term it open my eyes.
When I did it, I was shitfaced on about 6 IPAs, and did a full bowl of I believe 10x, I’m not quite familiar with the rating system. But I ripped the bong, held it in, and within a few seconds I began to disintegrate into sand like the scene in the Mummy movie. I remember being sucked back to what I thought was actual reality, like everything I had ever known up until this point was simply a simulation. On through this crazy gray vortex, almost looked like a tornado as these particles of sand. Within another split second I had assumed the body of some other being in some other galaxy. I was not able to recollect who I was of where I was, but I remember it feeling somewhat like Krypton as a completely faceless being, however truly being so afraid of the looming fact that I had just LOST my entire life. My friends, my family, my pets. My.. everything was gone within the blink of an eye. This feeling, I must say is nearly indescribable. Being succumb by the idea of everyone you knew looking for you after you just fucking completely vanished, and needing to find a way of figure a way to communicate that you’re alright. And then also the fact that, they may have not been real. At all. The entire world, my however many years of life. Everything I knew was a simulation and it was just OVER. Another few seconds inside this world with this feeling go by and I start to come down and see my buddy’s face behind what looked like a Lion become clearer and clearer until I finally jumped up, sprinted into our massive field and slid into my dog after tripping over him, clutching him for dear life. I truly felt I had become the most thankful, grateful scared i had ever become. I then went inside, crying and screaming at how much I loved everything and found a sheet pan to hug while I put my head in the freezer. After that I was completely sober.
I did plenty of hallucinogens in my late teens early 20s and nothing came CLOSE to my trip off salvia. I went from being a painting on a wall to an earlobe. It was insane.
My buddy tried salvia He said he was in a white room with a guy who kept trying to sell him something in a briefcase . My buddy kept telling the guy he wasn’t interested over and over but said man kept insisting. Finally my friend agrees to buy whatever he’s selling , and then the guy refused to sell it to him lol . Another time I was with a friend who smoked it in a mcdonalds parking lot . He laughed non stop for around 5 minutes . Half way thru you could tell his laugh wasn’t him having a good time . It was creepy as hell

i was dabbling in salvia in 2007, quite often. I definitely got like 10-15 people to try it for the first time. it was WILD WILD shit man. I vividly remember several of the trips, even all this time later. a truly bizarre drug. even more baffling that it was totally legal at my local headshop in Vancouver. I probably did it like 20 times or more, just experimenting with doses and such. Once, my dad came over and wanted a hit of pot, so i gave it to him, not remembering there was a decent bowl of salvia remnants in that pipe. he went sideways and I never had the heart to tell him. he just kept saying, "i dont know whats in that pipe, but its not pot."

My buddy thought he would handle a massive hit for his first time because he smokes weed daily. He said he was slowly dying and was underground but he can see all of us walking all around him and over him. Nobody could hear him crying out as he was sinking further and further into death. He said he was dying in the ground for a year. His trip lasted 10-15 minutes but it felt like eternity. He wasn't himself for a few days after.

I loved salvia and had many great experiences with it, but yeah Holly crap it can pack a wallop. The crazy thing is it only lasts for around 10 mins but it can feel like hours, then all the sudden back to normal lol

I recorded one of my salvia trips through my camera on computer, and as a stupid rookie, I had headphones on with the cord plugged into the computer. Welll sure enough I instantly passed out (80x full .5 bowl in one pull, zeroed out!!!) and my neck got caught in the headphone loop. I was choking as my body fell slumping to the ground my head (NECK) was caught in the loop , as I fell it pulled tighter and tighter. I was recording it and talking (video chat) with a friend as he never saw anyone do it before. So that’s how I know what happened. It was recorded and my friend told me my face was turning blue. It was around the three minute mark I began to return to consciousness only to discover I was about to be rendered unconscious or possible dead in the next MINUTE if I don’t come out of it soon. My friend said he had 911 dialed on his phone, but he was in a different COUNTRY, so he didn’t know what to do. He was essentially watching me die . I struggled with much difficulty trying to figure out what tf was going on. Obviously I eventually made it out, but that was a VNDE. It was a beautiful trip, while almost dying. Listening to bob marley. Salvia is crazy!
In 2011 I cleared a whole bowl of 200x salvia and was pulled through a tunnel and ended up in a desert with a massive, white, and shining palace. Krishna was standing in front of the palace, when I looked in the sky there was a black void where a knife carved the words "nothing is real, none of this is real" and a bunch of voices where saying it too. The whole time I was experiencing this my friend said I had stood up and walked over to his staircase, looked down and then turned around to go sit back down. Craziest trip I've ever had!
I became a planet and felt happiness and comfort when I aligned with the other planets and felt lonely and sad when the planets moved away from each other.
Every single day I’m grateful for making it out of that deathly experience and am so grateful to be back. It was hands down the most terrifying experience of my life and wish it upon nobody!

Tunnel vision, seeing my gf’s scared face and then getting pulled apart limb from limb and squeezed into this huge conveyor belt factory plcae that looked like a comment that I seen earlier that said it’s like a candy land from hell. My body was constantly transformed into various objects like a box of cereal and a remote control. With just this overwhelming feeling of never being able to come back to my original body forever falling and falling into more objects with all these jester like creatures laughing at me. Then I ran and ran and ran for what seemed like years! The trip was about 10 mins but sincerely felt like I was gone for years. Just non stop running to this little pinhole I could see in the distance which was my actual reality here on earth and myself. Running on what seemed to be giant piano keys, then towards the end as I was getting closer I continued running; exhausted asf! But things got brighter and before you know it I was surrounded by green pastures as far as the eye can see and my gf’s face was the sun. I remember reaching my arms out trying to grab ahold of reality but it was hard. After so long I finally reached and grabbed it and pulled myself as hard as I could back in. I truly feel like if I missed that pinhole in time I would’ve been stuck forever. After I got back I was only able to look straight in front of me. If I moved my eyes to the right I’d seem to be almost sucked back in like a vacuum. This lasted about another five minutes trying to focus on being human and staying here. It was absolutely traumatizing
I did this once in my early twenties. Everything around me turned into a Flintstones episode. It lasted like 5 minutes then it was like nothing happened.
One of my friends did it and he started singing about how "Salvia is fun and it's good for you". He said stuff like that for 2 minutes and then he slowly came back to reality. We were hitting it from a bong and I was a beginner smoker at the time so I couldn't finish the bowl. Because of this, my trip wasn't as intense but it was pretty cool and I'd like to try it again. I'm never doing those insane 50x-100x trips though. People warn you about that as much as DPH or Datura.

I smoked salvia and it was almost like my reality zoomed out and I could see that it was almost like a tv set, encased in a box that was in a long line of boxes of tv sets that represented different universes, in a black void with psychedelic colors and patterns. At that point I started panicking and was like "No! Send me back!" and I desperately wanted to get back to my reality. I remember looking at the lock on my car door (I had locked myself in my car so I wouldn't get up and wander around), and the lock had an eyeball on it. I unlocked my car door and got out and heard the honking of geese, and I remember how weird it actually sounded. It was like I was hearing it for the first time.
Nobody ever talks about how they feel after salvia. Like, strong acid or even a bad trip can leave altered behavior or paranoia or irrational beliefs. I knew a guy who tripped so hard he BELIEVED he was going to win the lottery. A couple days later he quit his job, sold his stuff and bought lottery tickets with the money. He didn't win. Had no job. No stuff. Does salvia do something like that, I wonder?
I mean the shit you see is more real then real life, at least during the peak and start of the comedown. Tho after 5h you should be completely fine and be able to look back on what you saw as just part of the trip. The first hour tho you might still be thinking that whatever you experienced might of been real but like mentioned after 5h when the drug fully leaves you will be back to normal

I only tried regular salvia once - not concentrated. from a bong. The dust motes floating in the sun coming through a slit in the drapes in my room turned into planets and stars and I flew through and around them and understood everything.
When I was younger, I heard of two rules about salvia. Don't smoke outside, and don't smoke by yourself. I broke both of these rules. I bought an acrylic bong to hit it in the woods by myself in case I dropped it. I hit it, blew out, went to hit it again to clear it and dropped the bong and fell over. It made me feel like me and a bunch of other people were in a line forming the line of cartoons, specifically the psychadelic part of dumbo, and we were doing great as the outline until someone broke off, and then we all started falling. It felt like we were falling for what seemed like hours. I came to laying on the ground in the woods in the puddle of water from the bong. Had probably been 10 minutes.

My most interesting trip doing salvia, I was a single cell in the human body, accompanied by thousands of other cells. We were all a bunch of smiley faces visually, happily doing our job, until I realised the row of cells beyond me were dying and I was getting closer to the death row. I started panicking like, "Fuck, I don't wanna die, man!" All the other cells became disturbed by my panic, which helped straighten me out. I realised it's all part of our collective journey. So in the end, I just accepted it. It was the most peaceful moment I've ever experienced. Now, I don't fear death. It's honestly not that bad.

Learned that lesson the hard way after wrestling my salvia induced friend around a hotel room for 10 minutes. No regard, or really any awareness of anything around him. Afterwards, he said he thought he was in outer space, and for very brief moments when he'd hear my voice and be able to see me, he thought he was peering through holes in the space-time continuum. In my Salvia experience, I saw swirling patterns and became a beam of light, meeting energy beings in a strange planet with fiery oceans and swirling skies. I felt connected to the universe, like I merged with a nebula. Coming back, I felt at peace and amazed, like I'd seen how everything connects.

Tried Salvia almost 10 years ago. Decided to hop in my car (no keys to drive it) and I genuinely was watching myself sit in a car from 3rd person view like GTA. Buddy said it was around 4 minutes but I felt like I was driving a car in grand theft auto 3rd person with a 4K VR headset for a few hours. never again lol

See Depersonalization and Derealization - i had this twice in my life after weed bong hit - lasted about 4hours. Very scary for the first time, also couldn't feel my body, i was in control, but like a character in a video game, couldn't focus, couldn't add 2 + 2, felt pretty disabled mentally. Second time it got me i thought - I will sleep it off... laid down and after 10 seconds i knew i will not fall asleep, insted i got some sort of channeling through my heart chakra and was "speaking" with thoughts with IDK felt like a god/creator/center of the universe but the strong power of love it was pumping through my heart felt like a mother's love. I was asking existentional questions, and when the answer was Yes it pumped so much energy that i got tingling in my whole body. I never felt more happier in my life after it's revelation even though i thought i was going crazy, you only read/watch about this stuff never experience. I learned that we are all one collective being, and we're here on Earth to experience life with all its ups and downs, to feel emotions (even extreme emotions of sadness and happiness). It's been many years and i still remember it clearly, yet still don't know what to think about all this...

Psychedelic rules:
1. The basics you always hear - don’t trip completely alone , know your dosage, don’t trip with shitty friends, intention setting and prior mood will determine your trip, always test, etc
2. Open space even if it’s indoors, comfy couch or bed nearby, minimal clutter, get things clean first. Snacks water everything you need should be within arms reach, easy to use, non spill
3. Don’t worry about when the trip ends trust me, act like a tourist. Learn their customs explore the land and stay open minded. if I’m anxious about time I wear a watch (not recommended for beginners - I do this when I’m trip sitting especially)
4. Have something to stimulate yourself during, finger painting really works but journaling or music if you’re more coherent is also great
4. Take good care of yourself after. Do not abuse these tools. Trips should be taken sparingly, we all need to go home at some point!
ALSO there are trip killers. A common one is risperidone as as it’s probably already around you if you have an antipsychotic prescription. Pls research how to specifically use but if anything seems to go too south they can be helpful in an emergency when used correctly. If you are trip sitting find a way to get a trip killer.
Always do research first, both online and through experienced people you can try to meet.

My experience was terrifying. At first I was living in a clown city. full of clowns and the environment was clownish. I knew I was tripping and kept telling myself it will pass. Then the high wasn’t going away so I had convinced myself that I was trapped in that world that I had gone insane and I literally thought to myself that the outside me, my physical body was inside an asylum. The trip lasted like three minutes but felt like an eternity.

When i did salvia years ago, we had quiet peaceful music, a dark room, several friends who were quiet and we all went one at a time. No talking. No asking if you feel it. Just laying on the couch with almost nothing but your mind to take you somewhere. It was a great experience.

I had some of the worst trips of my life on salvia. The worst one was when I was like 14 I took it in a park and shortly after the entire ground just disappeared and I fell down into a black void of nothing. My back was facing down and I just saw the hole of reality I fell through getting smaller and smaller. Everything got black in the end. I could not even see my own body. I feel like I fell for days before I landed in this field of nothing. I walked around, but could not feel my feet. I tried to grab or touch things, but nothing existed. I felt like I died and had been placed in this empty void between the layers of reality. It was horrible. Another time I almost jumped out a window because I thought my room was a microwave.

Me and my friends have tried salvia a few times. My coolest Moment was a 500x. I swear I took too much where I actually had control over myself while tripping. The world around me just changed. As soon as I looked up I seen all the trees in the sky looking down at me and every molecule of colour has been swapped with their opposite colour , the dirt became so purple, it started to merge with neon coloured grass and shot out into the horizon. I was completely aware of what was happening. I decided not to talk and just stare and walk around like a tourist. Once you turn into a tree, and the whole world listens and changes with you. I was nature for a moment. I can’t even explain all of the trip perfectly.

@@joelhernstrom6060well first of all there are a bunch of different types of 'salvia'. They are all related to the mint family but only the divinorum variant is psychoactive(there might be one of two others that I'm blanking on but the one every one smokes is divinorum.)
There are two ways to effectively consume the plant and that's through making a quid of the leaves(this is the least effective route).
And smoking is the other route and is the most effective and yes you can just smoke plain leafs with no extract but most people buy extracts like 10x,20x,40x,etc.
Also for anyone wondering the psychoactive chemical salvinorin a is so potent it is active in micrograms

I agree. Salvia is known to induce dysphoria. When I did it the imagery was amazing but an overwhelming fear of dying came with it that made me never want to try again. I did a bong rip of 50x extract with some friends in college and became a tree - with absolutely zero recollection of being anything else. Humans were chaotic buzzing gnats that were extremely frightening because I knew they could hurt me, but they were just a buzzing blur. My perception of time was WILDLY different than that of a human.

This stuff is no joke. Feels like forever but only lasts a few minutes. One hit of some strong salvia extract made me hit the ground and feel like I was infinitely falling into it. I was rolling on the floor uncontrollably laughing feeling as if I was being sucked into the floor at a very high speed in this waterfall of colors and repeating patterns. I felt as felt as if I had no grounding in the world around me. Like I couldn't locate myself in time or space. After what felt like an unmeasurable amount of time later, I snapped back to reality in an extreme state of confusion not able to speak for several minutes. Total mind bending and unsettling (and not very pleasant) experience that only lasts about 15 minutes but stays with you for a lifetime.
It's really like a few thousand years, and that you're never gonna be okay again
I was stuck for eternity in one of those old carnival tube rides where it rotates and you walk through it and each panel is a different color. Except I was the tube. I couldn’t remember anything of my life or more so I couldn’t remember anything other then there was a before. There was something safe and happy before this. That’s what made it pure hell. I knew that this was not supposed to be reality but I’ve been here forever and I will be here forever, there’s no leaving. Even worse is my form had feeling. It felt like there was 5000 kilos of weight on top of me (or that’s what it feels like to be metal). With every rotation it was a loop. I was being flattened into a pancake, rolled into a ball and flattened back down at every rotation. It wasn’t painful physically but the most terrible sensation ever. Like your form is malleable 5 ton ball of dough. The sensation is immense weight and then stretched out like taffy until fully flat like a pancake and then back into a ball, over and over. I finally started coming to where my memories were coming back and the rotation got slower, colors got dimmer. I started to feel my body, my arms. I felt as if I was made of extremely heavy and malleable clay and if I could just fight this I just might be able to leave this hell. I fought with all my might and sometime later I fully snapped back into reality, my body worked, I could see my room normally. I pulled myself out of the tube somehow. I jumped up so fast and threw the salvia in the trash bin. Looked at the clock and 2 1/2 minutes passed. It really felt like it was eternal. Eternal isn’t really nuanced enough. It was more as if this is what was and this is what will always be. No beginning or end, no memories of anything else other then this is not my true form.

I had a very similar experience. I was turned into an human machine. It was a big wheel of mettalic mechanical balls. , I was being folded in every way possible. And everytime I made an attempt to run away I was outside the ball for 0.5 seconds, got sucked into the ball again right away. I thought that I had woken up in the real world and that I discovered the real world, and that I would be tormented for the rest of my life .with all these other people in the machine. I felt their fears also , they were slaves of sinister aliens/demons. It feels like I had served like 50 years of working in the machine.
I also had that it was what it was , no beginning or end, it would be always like that and the same and strong deja Vu repeating infinite , no memories. I actually believed it was the real world

Doing salvia was the scariest few minutes of my entire life. i did 20x first time i was 25 years old -- grew up fairly religious and had done some experimenting with shrooms and then acid a few years before as part of a rebelious phase. im 38 years old -- salvia is still a defining moment of my life well above everything else I've ever done. I was on a beach in the sand, we cleared a big area away from everything so if someone did jump up they would fall into sand.
From the inhale feeling like I was breathing spikes, to the spinning, twisting almost rolling back of reality to the layer just before "outside" of time/space, the feeling of being locked between dimensions in a nitherworld with a demonic feminine "being" laughing that she has trapped you with her forever... to the coming back to reality and feeling inspired and connected to everything from the reverse hang over... over time the memory is still alive like it was yesterday. I really did think I broke reality when I took it. No one else had that kind of level of feeling, just seeing silly stuff and feelings of panic. For me it was like I had a window into the heavens, all that I had read about had a level of weight to it -- all the while totally understanding that I had experienced an altered state of reality.
I tried it again like 6 months later but was too scared to fully inhale so I only partially separated, it felt more like waves of disconnect with panic, 10/10 recommend trying it once, 0/10 don't recommend a second time lol.

They want others to feel unfriendly while they smile. The idea will never work. They act this way so that other people will judge them socially so they can get “power”, which isn’t real at all. When people lie about what they are on the inside and focus on acting skills and head games, it creates anger (judgement) in others. It gives some personalities a false sense of “power”. When people share the same ideas mentally, and they are kind, then smiling (joy) is authentic. Everything else is forced acting, which is awkward, stressful, and strange. Love (honesty and respect) is the only TRUE version of reality. Love is telepathy.

Wow I can relate. I tripped hard like this when I took it years ago. I was being eaten by the couch and my friends heads were floating off their bodies. One friend was wearing a plaid sweater and when I looked at them it became the whole wall behind them. I looked at the ceiling fan and it turned into a bunch of crows flying in circles. Talk was super slow motion. Arms we’re on fire. Tried to grab my beer off the coffee table and it turned to wax I could pick it up but it stretched from the table and I tried to drink pouring it all over my face thinking I wasn’t getting anywhere with it lmao. Crazy stuff. Would like to do again sometime though.

In my salvia trip, I felt like I had woken up into a world full of emotionally unavailable people who have no interest in anything to do with furthering the collective of human society. Instead they all felt as if they had to chase an unobtainable goal their whole lives and it was insane. I watched people step on each other, kill, betrayal from all angles. The whole shebang. Although in this long lasting trip I had, I would still see good happening but I couldn't pay attention to it because the only thing people wanted to talk about or communicate with me for was the pursuit of there own trivial wants not needs. Wow I tell you, was I glad it was only a salvia trip ;)

I had a horrible trip on that devil of a leaf. I was sitting in my buddies car and ripped a good one. Then I turned into the seat I was sitting in and couldn’t move no matter how hard I tried. I was a fucking seat of a car… literally. My arms were arm rests, and my face was a head rest. All I could do was look side to side as the rest of the car repeatedly got hit by a train over and over and over again for what seemed like 5 hours. Each time was just as scary as the first. Then when I finally “melted” back into my self and the world was normal, my feet felt wet for another 3-4 hours in real time. Fuck that shit. Never again.

Had a friend that insisted salvia doesn't do anything. We lived in the middle of nowhere and I packed a big bowl for him outside. I could tell he genuinely didn't think anything was gonna happen. It was hilarious and he was a good sport about it.
In highschool, one of my friends at one of those bowls shaped like a revolver cylinder. It has 6 little One-hitter sized bowls that rotated to the main pipe. They used to play a game called "trip roulette" where they'd load 5 bowls with straight weed and 1 with salvia extract a little weed on top so you couldnt tell which was which. Yep, I've never typed out a life story on CZcams but have always enjoyed reading them. I was glad to read everyone else was left as terrified as I was. My story goes like this, a group of us bought a bag of 80X and we decided we were all going to smoke a rip at the same time and trip together which was a bad idea. Salvia is interesting because of how quickly it takes over, with just one bowl from a bong smoked and held for 10 seconds. The exhalation was like I was being zipped away into a massive backpack and reality faded. My soul decided to leave my body and I rose above the house all the way up into the sky and then into space, as I drifted away info space watching the Earth disappear for what I thought was forever. While drifting the Earth turned into a black ball, and then like a family guy skit my perspective zoomed quickly to a wide screen and now the Earth was being paddled against a paddle ball board. I don't remember coming back to Earth or how I came back to reality but I remember everyone else seemed okay, and I was shook! For me it too felt like I was gone for 100s of years, my body and mind felt as if I travelled across the world 100 times. I ended up feeling super anxious and kind of weirded out by the whole thing and had to sleep it off. It was maybe mid afternoon when I took it and I slept until that evening sometime after dinner. I felt fine after my nap and was relieved that I was able to shake off that awful feeling, I know its not LSD or acid or shrooms, but it ruined all psychedelics for me. I have done micro doses of mushrooms since then but max is ever .5g. I also chose to do this with friends I wasn't super enthralled with, it was a high school spur of the moment type thing. Oh yeah I tried DMT once too, in a dark basement no light or noise, and nothing.

Had a friend who took it. Nothing was happening until he realized there were more people in the room than at the start. These people were looking creepy. Finally, they said "Do you want us to show you what reality really is?" He said "Nooooooo!", but they ripped back the 3D facade of the room and showed him everything in our life is just a lower dimension and they control everything. When he finished, he thought "that was weird" but he kind of also believed it for months.

I ordered some online many years ago and me and a buddy tried it in a friends apartment. We went into a bedroom and closed the door and then sat on the ground while we smoked it. Right when the trip started coming on someone had popped their head in the door asking us how it was and all I remember is that the sounds of them talking to us were rushing into the room like waves of water. They weren't even really being loud, but the waves of sound were kind of intense. At the same time, me and my friend said "Shut that damn door!" and afterwards he was telling me that he basically had the same experience. Always thought that was weird.

That forward fold, or forward motion is something that I’ve seen in every Salvia trip, myself included. It’s like waves of insanity overcome you and take you under to experience a long history of events, in microseconds. Interesting, but it’s something that I’ll never do again.
My buddy Reese tried salvia for the first time when he was 15-16, after having experience with other psychedelics like DMT and acid. Idk how much he smoked, but he claims he spent 30 years living as a completely different guy with a normal life, a job, wife, kids, etc. Says it was extremely vivid and one day he went to bed just woke up back at his friend's house as a teenager. Scary shit. I think I'll just stick to shrooms.

Craziest most mind blowing experience of my life. It was one of the worst things that ever happened to me in the short term, but in the long term it open my eyes.
When I did it, I was shitfaced on about 6 IPAs, and did a full bowl of I believe 10x, I’m not quite familiar with the rating system.
But I ripped the bong, held it in, and within a few seconds I began to disintegrate into sand like the scene in the Mummy movie.
I remember being sucked back to what I thought was actual reality, like everything I had ever known up until this point was simply a simulation. On through this crazy gray vortex, almost looked like a tornado as these particles of sand. Within another split second I had assumed the body of some other being in some other galaxy. I was not able to recollect who I was of where I was, but I remember it feeling somewhat like Krypton as a completely faceless being, however truly being so afraid of the looming fact that I had just LOST my entire life. My friends, my family, my pets. My.. everything was gone within the blink of an eye. This feeling, I must say is nearly indescribable. Being succumb by the idea of everyone you knew looking for you after you just fucking completely vanished, and needing to find a way of figure a way to communicate that you’re alright. And then also the fact that, they may have not been real. At all. The entire world, my however many years of life. Everything I knew was a simulation and it was just OVER.
Another few seconds inside this world with this feeling go by and I start to come down and see my buddy’s face behind what looked like a Lion become clearer and clearer until I finally jumped up, sprinted into our massive field and slid into my dog after tripping over him, clutching him for dear life. I truly felt I had become the most thankful, grateful scared i had ever become.
I then went inside, crying and screaming at how much I loved everything and found a sheet pan to hug while I put my head in the freezer.
After that I was completely sober.
I did plenty of hallucinogens in my late teens early 20s and nothing came CLOSE to my trip off salvia. I went from being a painting on a wall to an earlobe. It was insane.

i was dabbling in salvia in 2007, quite often. I definitely got like 10-15 people to try it for the first time. it was WILD WILD shit man. I vividly remember several of the trips, even all this time later. a truly bizarre drug. even more baffling that it was totally legal at my local headshop in Vancouver. I probably did it like 20 times or more, just experimenting with doses and such. Once, my dad came over and wanted a hit of pot, so i gave it to him, not remembering there was a decent bowl of salvia remnants in that pipe. he went sideways and I never had the heart to tell him. he just kept saying, "i dont know whats in that pipe, but its not pot."

My buddy thought he would handle a massive hit for his first time because he smokes weed daily. He said he was slowly dying and was underground but he can see all of us walking all around him and over him. Nobody could hear him crying out as he was sinking further and further into death. He said he was dying in the ground for a year. His trip lasted 10-15 minutes but it felt like eternity. He wasn't himself for a few days after.
When I did it, I felt like I was a sandwich in a sandwich bag and a lady at the register was scanning me in the checkout line. Then switches up to me being a scarecrow in a Field. Shits crazy man…..

I recorded one of my salvia trips through my camera on computer, and as a stupid rookie, I had headphones on with the cord plugged into the computer.
Welll sure enough I instantly passed out (80x full .5 bowl in one pull, zeroed out!!!) and my neck got caught in the headphone loop.
I was choking as my body fell slumping to the ground my head (NECK) was caught in the loop , as I fell it pulled tighter and tighter.
I was recording it and talking (video chat) with a friend as he never saw anyone do it before.
So that’s how I know what happened.
It was recorded and my friend told me my face was turning blue. It was around the three minute mark I began to return to consciousness only to discover I was about to be rendered unconscious or possible dead in the next MINUTE if I don’t come out of it soon.
My friend said he had 911 dialed on his phone, but he was in a different COUNTRY, so he didn’t know what to do.
He was essentially watching me die .
I struggled with much difficulty trying to figure out what tf was going on.
Obviously I eventually made it out, but that was a VNDE.
It was a beautiful trip, while almost dying.

In 2011 I cleared a whole bowl of 200x salvia and was pulled through a tunnel and ended up in a desert with a massive, white, and shining palace. Krishna was standing in front of the palace, when I looked in the sky there was a black void where a knife carved the words "nothing is real, none of this is real" and a bunch of voices where saying it too. The whole time I was experiencing this my friend said I had stood up and walked over to his staircase, looked down and then turned around to go sit back down. Craziest trip I've ever had!
I became a planet and felt happiness and comfort when I aligned with the other planets and felt lonely and sad when the planets moved away from each other.
Every single day I’m grateful for making it out of that deathly experience and am so grateful to be back. It was hands down the most terrifying experience of my life and wish it upon nobody!

Tunnel vision, seeing my gf’s scared face and then getting pulled apart limb from limb and squeezed into this huge conveyor belt factory plcae that looked like a comment that I seen earlier that said it’s like a candy land from hell. My body was constantly transformed into various objects like a box of cereal and a remote control. With just this overwhelming feeling of never being able to come back to my original body forever falling and falling into more objects with all these jester like creatures laughing at me. Then I ran and ran and ran for what seemed like years! The trip was about 10 mins but sincerely felt like I was gone for years. Just non stop running to this little pinhole I could see in the distance which was my actual reality here on earth and myself. Running on what seemed to be giant piano keys, then towards the end as I was getting closer I continued running; exhausted asf! But things got brighter and before you know it I was surrounded by green pastures as far as the eye can see and my gf’s face was the sun. I remember reaching my arms out trying to grab ahold of reality but it was hard. After so long I finally reached and grabbed it and pulled myself as hard as I could back in. I truly feel like if I missed that pinhole in time I would’ve been stuck forever. After I got back I was only able to look straight in front of me. If I moved my eyes to the right I’d seem to be almost sucked back in like a vacuum. This lasted about another five minutes trying to focus on being human and staying here. It was absolutely traumatizing

One of my friends did it and he started singing about how "Salvia is fun and it's good for you". He said stuff like that for 2 minutes and then he slowly came back to reality. We were hitting it from a bong and I was a beginner smoker at the time so I couldn't finish the bowl. Because of this, my trip wasn't as intense but it was pretty cool and I'd like to try it again. I'm never doing those insane 50x-100x trips though. People warn you about that as much as DPH or Datura.

I smoked salvia and it was almost like my reality zoomed out and I could see that it was almost like a tv set, encased in a box that was in a long line of boxes of tv sets that represented different universes, in a black void with psychedelic colors and patterns. At that point I started panicking and was like "No! Send me back!" and I desperately wanted to get back to my reality. I remember looking at the lock on my car door (I had locked myself in my car so I wouldn't get up and wander around), and the lock had an eyeball on it. I unlocked my car door and got out and heard the honking of geese, and I remember how weird it actually sounded. It was like I was hearing it for the first time.
Salvia is like going to the Peak of a Candy Flip for 3-5 minutes!! Just need a babysitter😂😂
Nobody ever talks about how they feel after salvia. Like, strong acid or even a bad trip can leave altered behavior or paranoia or irrational beliefs. I knew a guy who tripped so hard he BELIEVED he was going to win the lottery. A couple days later he quit his job, sold his stuff and bought lottery tickets with the money. He didn't win. Had no job. No stuff.

I mean the shit you see is more real then real life, at least during the peak and start of the comedown. Tho after 5h you should be completely fine and be able to look back on what you saw as just part of the trip. The first hour tho you might still be thinking that whatever you experienced might of been real but like mentioned after 5h when the drug fully leaves you will be back to normal

Thanks for posting a reply. I always wondered because nobody ever mentioned it anywhere. But by the looks of a strong salvia trip, I thought maybe you'd become traumatized or would "blow a fuse" like my friend did on lsd. That guy totally believed he was going to win the lottery even almost 2 weeks after his trip.

I only tried regular salvia once - not concentrated. from a bong.

When I was younger, I heard of two rules about salvia. Don't smoke outside, and don't smoke by yourself. I broke both of these rules. I bought an acrylic bong to hit it in the woods by myself in case I dropped it. I hit it, blew out, went to hit it again to clear it and dropped the bong and fell over. It made me feel like me and a bunch of other people were in a line forming the line of cartoons, specifically the psychadelic part of dumbo, and we were doing great as the outline until someone broke off, and then we all started falling. It felt like we were falling for what seemed like hours. I came to laying on the ground in the woods in the puddle of water from the bong. Had probably been 10 minutes.
