I think you'll love their song 'feel special' arguably their best title track. It has a great meaning and maybe you'll love cry for me as well. Cry for me is like the mature mature song of them. and the lyrics of it are interesting. so yeah, waiting for more twice in the future

This is linked with More & More. In More & More they're in Eden. They were pure and all, but they wanted more. They bite the apple and come out to the real world where everything seems nice and exciting and trippy. Then, in I Can't Stop Me, they start to make choices that can be good or bad, but they can't stop themselves from wanting to cross the red line, even if they know there lies the bad choices. At the end, though, there are consequences, like a train that lead to a cliff with a sand storm running after it. There's no future, but also no coming back.

Yeah, certainly an 80's vibe. K-Pop will occasionally blend the K-Pop style with an older style. You have certainly heard some of the jazzier stuff already. If you want to check out an MV that is 90s style, I would recommend EXID's Lady.
The member with the two different eye colors is Chaeyoung. She along with Dahyun make up the rapper line for Twice.
Twice is amazing, and I certainly recommend maybe in the future checking out some of their variety content to get to know them better as people. For example, they have Time To Twice which is broken up into a bunch of different seasons. Each season is between 3 and 6 episodes long (with the occasional bonus clips episode). One season might have them doing karaoke games, while the next will have them chilling out in a camp setting, then another solving a murder mystery.
The Second you said the word "Risky" i couldn't help but think, "Ah! He gets it!"
Honestly when Twice came on the scene so much of their music was cutesy and i completely missed the dark elements they incorporated into their lyrics and music videos. They are very underrated for how distressing some of their imagery can be.
I remember when the teaser literally shook the internet especially Nayeon's hip movements

I've listened to this song (especially the English version) so many times & watched the video several times... & am only now realizing at the beginning that when they're seated at a table with the red line down the middle... they're all seated across from their other mirror selves... haha. I don't know how I missed that in previous watches.
You should give "Cry For Me" a listen. It only has a live performance & performance video version (no official full music video), but it's a banger & one of their much darker songs.
The most meaningful song they have is feel special and the mv is something else :)

idk if there is any connection BUT in 2018 they released What Is Love, in 2021 Taste Of Love and Formula Of Love (on Alcohol Free mv teaser - title track from taste of love - appeared what is love in the video so i think is connected)

You should have checked "More & More"before "I can stop me" , because the concept of the two songs are connected;
I can't stop me is like the continuation of More & More; and after this the end of the trilogy with "Cry for me"but the song doesn't have an MV (just a dance performance , a MAMA stage and lyrics video); maybe after checking all 3 songs u can watch Twice MAMA performance in 2020 (even on your own) to get the concept of this trilogy.
Plus if you join Twice from the start in their journey you will see how all their songs are like a story about them & their growth (from innocence to maturity) .
I will anticipate how you will interpret the concept of More&More too.

TWICE in FANCY " Jeongyeon " in the last scene she was stung by the thorn and kinda became the evil one ----> then in More & More she was the only dressed in black and I think she represented the devil or the snake and seduced Eve " probably Mina " to eat the apple " forbidden fruit " and the scenes where they were in the garden of Eden and then lastly being punished and left to earth ----> then in I Can't Stop Me they actually saying that they're can't stop themselves from doing these forbidden things and the lyrics is so obvious ---> The last thing I know that in Cry For Me they were talking about that they have been punished and thrown to hell and these kinda stuuff !
Sorry for the bad explanation I'm not an English native speaker and I'm Muslim so the story of Adam and Eve is slightly different so I hope I didn't say anything wrong !

There are many misconceptions about TWICE. They had meaningful lyrics even when their music was (for many people) "just cute bubblegum pop" which leads to the other main misconception that they were "just cute bubblegum pop". The most recent TWICE songs are just up my alley because they hit me hard with nostalgia since all these sounds are my childhood. BUT some of their earlier B-sides and tittle tracks are in my top songs not just from TWICE but in general. Blasting "TT" after "Desperate Cry" by Sepultura is cathartic , or chilling with "Like a fool" before "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam. I'm now intrigued to see how you like their earlier cutesy songs. 👍
P.S For people that find this contrast in my music taste weird you obviously haven't heard of Babymetal. (One of the best live acts I've seen in my 40+ years. Wish I could include TWICE in that list but apparently Europe is not a part of "The World" for JYPE)

These were groups that were "prominent" in my teen years (Sepultura are still around after almost 30 years) and there was no internet back then to have the ability to just look up any M/V / song from any artist in any genre. Now that you younger people have that ability explore what is/was out there and broaden your music horizons. You never know what you'll discover. 👍

Tbh I think it’s not that they accepted there fate because the train stopped at the end before they were gonna fall into there darkness idk if that makes sense but yeah
My thought was that the sandstorm represents the chaos that their life has become due to them going out of control therefor they have accepted their fate, but the train did stop so maybe in the end they were able to stop themselves. Of course I could be talking nonsense haha but that's how I felt about the visuals :) They accepted their fate but then much like in a movie when someone's about to die and then the hero appears and saves them out of nowhere, that hero could be the angel on their shoulder, the good in them which made them realize that they don't want to fall into the darkness :)
