you know what is crazy and goes to show how messed up the auto market is...my friend who worked at his local dodge dealer for 20+ years as a journeyman tech...wanted a rebal gt, fresh on the lot. he went to inquire on it and he knew what the sticker price was as he was the one who PDI'ed it and got it ready for the lot. THEY WANTED TO SELL HIM IT AT A 25% PRICE HIKE!!! Needless to say he laughed and said whast the point of working at a dealership if we get no perks or benefits!? N walked away.
At least they’re indiscriminate in their scamming

It's a very good auto at least. The manual that comes with the base is subpar

@@NorthPhilly_Bul The manual is available on any rear wheel drive non-comp M3 and M4. Bonus, the manual is 55 lbs lighter than the ZF auto box.
@@maxon1672 yea…. Why get the higher model….. the manual rear wheel drive version is what the drivers really want… and when they grow up they’re just gonna throw a sequential in anyway….

People say M3 because the M4 model is recent. You used to choose M3 coupe/saloon/convertible. Now M3 is saloon/wagon and M4 is coupe/convertible.

Love watching your videos lately. I am buying a sports car next weekend. This car is nice and priced simiarly to a new 2024 Jaguar F-Type P450. Since you have driven both cars, which do you recommend between the two? I have driven the F-Type but not the M4.
One is butt ugly and one is designed by a master in design in Ian Calum. The BMW will certainly be more performant all around though unless you are talking an R F-type. Even then I believe the M4 comp will be still slightly more performant than the R, which is quite impressive given the money difference.
Not to mention you can easily tune the M4 to achieve 700+ hp. The jaguar is shit. @@dlj1285

Does it come in manual
The competition models are 8 speed automatic only but luckily the m3 and m4 at least have a dual clutch unlike the m2. The m2 comes in either a manual or straight automatic with no dual clutch.

@wootays I'd honestly lease it and see if you want to own it after the lease period is over. Also honestly depends on how comfortable how much you're willing to put down and how much monthly.
Cant understand why the main German cars have embraced this touchscreen gimmicky design . We spend so much time touching glass , just for information ? So what ? At least while driving take your eyes away from the computer, give the eyes a rest. 🙄
This complete touchscreen , a single screen for both speed and the music part is a joke, confusing . Why would BMW want this screen across the dash in a high performance car , when the emphasis is on engineering. Look at Porsche, they have a small compact touchscreen discreetly positioned separately in its own section. And this M4 is regarded as a Porsche alternative.
