- In this video we continue our journey north from Petersburg. We re-visit Ford's Terror but focus - in greater, re-cut, depth - on how we shot the drone footage of the fearsome rapids and of the magical waterfalls - that resulted in the loss of our drone.
Tony has the voice, creation skills and delivery of narration which is world class. As good if not better than any National Graphic or any other documentary I have ever seen.
totally agreed . It soothes my mind and soul each time i watch one of those episodes .
Better than Attenborough even! Tony's videos exceed the National Geographics of the past and wat the NG hasn't been in at least 25 years.
Mr. Fleming, your story telling ability is incredible as is your navigational prowess and desire to share your wondrous travels. Thank you for showing us how incredible the world is. Please keep up the amazing work.
I enjoyed meeting Mr. Fleming up in Auke Bay this past summer, west of Juneau. He was a very friendly man full of adventure! I had to tell him how much I love his videos of his travels aboard one of the prettiest yachts afloat today. Certainly a timeless classic design!
Thank you good sir. Your videos take people like me to places we may never get to experience. I wish you good health and safe travels. 🙂
You are the best narator of all time.
11:12 Thank you for sharing your good fortune, your talent, and your dreams with others. There is no way I would ever see these sights without your expert presentation of them here. There is no better way for me to spend my limited screen time than watching your films. Your generosity is a great example for others to follow. I’m sorry that Davey Jones now owns your drone!
Tony Fleming makes some of the best travel videos I know of. He has an artist's eye and a craftsman's skill and discipline, resulting in a very satisfying experience. Thank you, Mr. Fleming, for making and posting these videos.
I have been all the way to the spot you were at, the head of the bay, a place that words cannot describe! Alaska in general, no place even compares! Simple!
By far my favorite CZcams channel! What beautiful scenery! I moved away from the Kenai Peninsula 28 years ago, and still I long to go back. Thank you for sharing your travels with us! Not many have gazed on the beauty of that passage.
You set the standard with these wonderful episodes. I kept expecting to see a bear along the river bank.
Thank you so so so much to all of you for these amazing films about Mother Earth!
Thank you Mr Fleming, as always a breathtaking visa expertly narrated and filmed. You must be the most interesting man in the world!! 😉❤
This is gorgeous footage. Sorry about the drone. It was worth it. Love the Fleming.
Absolutely wonderful. I have re-watched the different Alaskan episodes, each has it's own exciting moments. More, more!

Mr. Fleming, you are the best sort of madman. Stunning, and a virtuous death for a drone.
Epic footage, worth a drone loss. Since I was a young boy, I have always wanted to explore Alaska. Thanks for sharing. SV Skoiern IV
Beautiful video and very engrossing narration. The mountains rise directly from the sea !
It's on my own bucket list to visit Alaska and especially travel above the Arctic Circle.
Good to see another one of your videos Tony! My girlfriend and i have seen them all and loved living vicariously through these excellent documentaries!! Thank you!
Beautiful as ever Tony, thank you, god bless.

Spectacular footage and narration. Too bad for the drone, but she went out with a bang!
Absolutely beautiful 😍
Absolutely stunning drone exercises ... ☀
These are amazing and I've missed them. I'm so happy to see more.

Beautiful video Tony. Thank you for sharing
Amazing vistas! 😯😯👍👍thank you for sharing! 👍👍
Amazing, I love to see your episodes.
I really love your presentations.
Wot a stunningly beautiful place
Wow, you should write a book of places to go. I believe yacht owners all over the world would buy it. I know I would even though I haven't bought my own yacht. 😁
Spectacular, as always!
This one is truly remarkable Tony. 🙏
That waterfall is simply amazing. Honestly the Earth is simply amazing!
Always awesome! 👍😎🇨🇦
Stunning all around
Tony, I think this may be the most stunning video you’ve made. Thanks for sharing.
I’m already looking forward to see the next video 🤩
I enjoy the mood and tone of all your films. Thank you.
Another spectacular video. The scenery of Alaska truly is awesome.
Just beautiful!!!
Amazing camera footage.
Thank you for sharing !
These are by far the best videos on CZcams. Reminds me of old National Geographic I grew up with or even Jaques Cousteau the French explorer. Thank you since I can only dream of such a yacht. My 25ft. Pontoon with a 150 Yamaha outboard will have to do!
Beautiful!
I get lost in awe watching your videos. Love your work at play!
Wonderful as always! Sorry about the drone, but those breathtaking shots of the waterfall were worth it. Thank you!
Magnificent thank you for this video
Awesome seeing what I never will be able to go see..
The very amazing Drones are a great addition to your filming tool box Tony..... It is a shame you lost one, but at least you managed to save the content.... A real delight to join you on your journey.... :-))
These videos should be on Curiosity Stream too!
Your videos are super professional and interesting... quite the boat you travel on... and i never knew what Alaska was about until you showed me. For seven million bucks i say it was a good deal to purchase Alaska...
Love you.
ditto, no words,perfect....k
Tk you very much for the video 📸📷📸👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🎣🎣🎣🎣🪵🔥🪵🔥
This is absolutely beautiful in this video!....What did the drone cost ya?
Beautiful video, Tony, I have yet to see any of your boats I live 50 miles west of the Mississippi River. Can any of the Fleming boats go from saltwater to freshwater without any damage to the boat or the inner workings?
Ditto
So beautiful. But I often wonder why drone users that work around water don't get a waterproof drone. You throw it in the water and fly it from the surface. No worrying about dunking or sinking.
Because DJI is the standard, Most other drones are junk. And now DJI with the larger sensor the footage is beautiful.
I think the glitch was worth the footage.
I thought drones had to be LOS (Line of sight) but there's no way Chris can view his drone from so far away. How does he track it? Using a monitor on the controls? That takes talent.
The modern drones are tiny and you lose sight of them almost immediately. They have to be flown by using the monitor - usually a phone - and, yes, that does take skill and practice.
I was wondering… is the water in the bay still salt?
Any possibility of doing future videos in High Def? Could any of your other videos be converted to that format and re-downloaded?
Actually, all the videos are shot in 4K. I tried for a while trying various ways of uploading in 4K but it was too much hassle and with most people watching on phones etc it was not worth the effort. I do have 42 videos uploaded on the Vyou channel on Roku under my name,
12:20 It looks too bright for 4:30 AM?
At that time of year in that location, sunrise is at 0351 and sunset is at 10.08. It never gets really dark. You can look it up for yourself on the internet. We were underway at 0500 - more than one hour after sunrise.
If you have not received an award for your videos that is a mistake
Español please!
Just wow
Nice! -- QUESTION -- I noticed that you are now sailing Venture II, not the original Venture I. What happened to the original Venture? Is it for sale?
