James Milner produced a vintage midfield performance in Brighton's 4-2 victory against Spurs at the Amex. #brightonandhovealbion #spurs #premierleague #football #jamesmilner
He's never a RB, shouldn't ever be played there. Fantastic in CM yesterday, involved in everything. Fortunately Hinshelwood has come along and even though he's not a RB either he's fitted well into that position
I was thinking much the same but maybe we need to have more faith in RDZ. And look how Buonanotte is suddenly finding his feet. Verdict distinctly out on Dahoud at the moment so just need him to come good
Have to hold my hands up and say I was too quick to write him off on the pitch - no question he’s an amazing influence in the dressing room but it’s great to see him reassure the fans with an absolutely monstrous performance yesterday🙌
"I'll do whatever the manager asks me to do" a manager's wet dream, he must an excellent influence on the younger players. what an amazing acquisition Milner has been for the club
He’s a future manager somewhere - despite having an outstanding game he was able to clinically analyse the game and the season so far. Hopefully the youngsters at the club are smart enough to learn from the likes of James, Adam and Danny - huge missed opportunity if they don’t.
Milner was incredible. No other way to say it. Him lalana and welbeck bring so much knowledge and experience to the team
Really true…good job bro✌️
it helps when he's played in his actual preferred position not wing back
His best game in a Brighton shirt. Hope he plays more in midfield. Much better when he isn’t asked to go 1v1 against fast wingers

@@TheDaveman75 agreed, it's harsh to say he's bad when realistically he's just not playing at full potential in his preferred position
He was great in that game! Only way to say it! He made a brilliant and remarkable screamer happen🎉
630 premiership league games..won it all & still humble…..class act
He was phenomenal last night … and I say that as someone who, until last night, thought he was past it and a square peg for a round hole.

absolutely incredible performance from Milner
TAIKIWIIIII

And you could tell he felt great. James wascan absolute machine today. I was praying for a James goal and we got SO CLOSE!!!

Milner, the ultimate professional 👏

His best game this season.
He's too slow for full back - looked like having a new player...inside left....got an engine...and tough...perfect. Best game for us.
I agree.

Imagine if the ball was inside
the net
Keep him in that position
