Sant Sakhu is a 1941 Marathi devotional film starring Shankar Kulkarni, Hansa Wadkar and Shanta Majmudar. Sakhu lives with her husband and cruel mother-in-law. Sakhu Bai is a devotee of Vitthala. Her husband takes his mums side fearing she will be upset if he takes his wife’s side. Things get worse when her sister-in law comes lives with them. Sakhu Bai is thrown out of the house. She follows a group singing devotional songs. She is tied to a pole. She worships Vitthala and a miracle happens.
