Discover A Simplified Approach to Master the Complexity of Anatomy with me, Dr. David Morton ... The Noted Anatomist!
------------------------------------------------------------------
I was having a hard time visualising how the valves close to block backflow. I'm stunned at what the aortic valves do, like wow. Those sinuses on the aortic valves have an opening in the sinus which continues on as the coronary arteries! Man, the human anatomy is incredible.
We had to disect a sheeps heart in physio...
It was crazy. We filled the ventricles with water and squeezed them and literally saw how the tri/bicuspid valves were shutting with each squeeze😷
@@irinaivanov8565 wow, thats crazy, in which country??
@@hwiatslgeord2887 the U.S. we're in California
The thing I like most about this video is the sound effects! Very helpful lol
That closing sound awww...I replayed it many times 😁
Glad you liked it!
Excellent, thank you so much. That was succinct and so easy to follow. I appreciate it.
Humour and arrows really helped!
One direction that sounds like a musical band touched my heart explanation was superb
thaaaank you I had a hard time visualizing the valves and memorizing their positions!! you made it so clear
we both synchronized at that 1 direction pun :D
Another good mnemonic for the valves is LAB RAT:
Left
Atrium
Bicuspid
Right
Atrium
Tricuspid
Great video - thank you so much!!!

It was so fun watching this! 🤩
/Swedish med student
Why bicuspid valve is not tricuspid like his brothers? Why 2 while it can be small 3?
Thank you sir it was helpful for my test
How's the aortic valve more posterior?
In textbooks it say 2 posterior 1 anterior..
I just can't visualise that.. I thought they were 2 anterior, 1 posterior
They're flaps outside the valves are inside
i coudnt figure out av valves no matter what thnaks.
Superb
Thanks 🤗
ONE DIRECTION FAN!
This is an amazing video thank you so much!!
P.s. your voice is a bit quiet, even w/ volume all the way up... kindly scream into the microphone so I really don't forget the info :)
Cheers👍
your videos are good but I would like to buy some of your videos how can I get instead I stay in Somalia and there doesn't have relationship in the world
You can't buy them. They are all free on the internet. You can find all of his videos on his youtube channel, The Noted Anatomist. That said I know some countries block different websites such as youtube. I hope Somalia isn't one of them.
