Anglican is underrated AF, never pay for a stability again (quicker than Catholic IMO), get to turn your wives directly into mana points, free innovativeness but the biggest thing is the flat buff for having the religion (so not via the church power interaction) is 10% tech cost and 5% dev cost which is huge for England/Scotland and of course if you could get it in the Netherlands or something I would.
honeslty I have to agree, I got 100% crownlands with angricanism clergy interaction alone...and 100 innovativeness, dev cost bonuses, etc, its quite strong
Also you can Deus Vult everyone, since most likely you will be the only Anglican nation. Basically Imperialism 200 years or so early
@@GrafSchocola just a shame there's little reason to take religious in the British Isles unless you're specifically planning for that.
I'm in the middle of a Scotland run and my playing ultra tall idea of Innovative-Offensive-Espionage plus having to take Exploration-Expansion AND eventually taking Economic and maybe quantity for the dev cost, that only leaves one left which will probably go into one of the naval groups for me. I suppose in a campaign like Ludis where you are focusing on Europe it would be way better but the classic tall/colonial Britain doesn't leave much room for it IMO.
They must have buffed it it used to be not good, just extra innovativeness gains. I’ll have to actually choose it then

Meiou&Taxes has an option like that, forming the Anglo-French union and later a new culture emerges, the Anglois culture which is a blend of the both cultures in the style that french is the dominant of the two.
Ante Bellum has that. Starting as Normandy, you can form England and later Dual Monarchy/Angevin Empire. In the mission tree, you gain Anglois culture which is part of the French group. Original England starts as Anglo-Saxon.

Ludi, I'm new to Eu4 and played Eu3 a lot before, and I would appreciate it if you made tutorial/guide videos for different EU4 mechanics or game styles and stuff. If not, could you consider explaining what you do in the game in a bit more detail? I feel like sometimes some things are skipped and I miss out on details.
I understand if your content is mostly made for fun, but I think you know the game really well and could help out a lot of people like me who seek to improve ASAP.

20:50, Native Americans actually did have forts and walled settlements, particularly around Eastern America. They weren't as defensible as European fort, but they were something.

Can you make a video on how to join the HRE instead of dismantling it? People said its easier to conquer HRE land being part of it instead of destroying it.
Iroquois didnt live in tents but rather wooden longhouses and yes they had wooden defences to siege.

Ludi! I suspect that you enjoy Custom nations. Check out the new ideas added to the Custom Nation set! +2 to goods produced on Day 1? Ill take some please! I put the +2 goods together with All power cost reduction -10% and Yearly Inflation reduction -.20 and Gold inflation reduction -50% in Central America starting with ONE gold mine. BEFORE 1500 I had most of Central America under my Monarchy belt, with 50k of ducets in the bank on IRONMAN with Achievements.
(For my flavor, I made them Norse religion. But to be honest, Totemist may have been a little easier)

@@LudietHistoria BUT LUDI, what purpose does the 90 favor action that makes another country have an heir of your dynasty serve? In my France game, all the major countries are of my dynasty at this point, but I see no major difference in the AI behavior, let alone PU's which I was hoping for
@@rilindshehu2458 so that basically allows u to put an heir on the target country's throne, but here's the pickle, it's not a guarantee for the PU and if the country's king is quite young, that heir will be disinherited most likely sadly :(

At some point they're going to be without heir, or even better, with a low legitimacy one. What you need to do Is not only to put your heir on their throne only when their current leader is on the older side, as ludi suggested, you also need to make It so that you already broke your alliance some time before you will claim the throne in order to avoid the risk of them getting a new heir before your truce ends. Unless you're willing to suffer a huge stability hit that Is. Always clam throne when you're already set for war

Converting Welsh, Highlander, etc cultures is quite a waste since they'd be accepted instantly once you reach empire rank at tech 10
no they wouldn't, highlander isn't in the same culture group, it's celtic, and welsh costs me 90 diplo to convert the entire group, that is worth it since until i reach empire rank in the 1520s I would get less tax and manpower from those provinces as they are in the same group but not accepted

@@duri9853 there's a way to make it so colonial nations don't form: transfer your capital to the new world by moving your capital an Atlantic island that isn't apart of Europe or America like St Helen
@@sainttesuque7940 True, that's one way, but then you have a problem with governing capacity, which is a bit challenging to get around in the early, mid game. But yeah, I guess it's the only way.
