- I was so close to complete the Mclaren 720s rebuild before Christmas but i have a vaild excuse on why i wasnt able to... in the meantime ive taken a trip to Copart to collect a new project car then headed over to @REPerformanceUK to collect my Twin Turbo Gallardo after some work.

In Italian language "purosangue" is the opposite of the english word "bastard" usually used for animals likes horses. I think you can find the right translation

To stop the flickering a capacitor might work.
A Capacitor is like a water reservoir for but for electricity. So, if you have messy power coming in, it will flow evenly out the other side of the capacitor.
Or a resistor

Capacitor is the correct component to smooth the electrical energy and stop the flashing, a resistor will only reduce the current flow.
@@natedostalik3538 Yea, I've heard of "anti-flicker" resistors alright, but I don't really understand how they'd fix the problem (even though they apparently do), unless maybe the input voltage was too high, or it was spiking?
Since resistors basically just lower the voltage and current in the circuit.
Whereas a capacitor is more like the cold water storage tank in your attic, so that you get a constant flow of water, and you don't get scorched if somebody runs the tap when you're in the shower..

I like the fact that they ran the intakes from the turbos to the rear upper fender (or wing) vents on the Gallardo. And that they put enclosed air filters with that duct work that goes up to those top fender grilles. And the center exhaust with dumps looks awesome. I think the factory air boxes have duct work that goes to those rear top grills so well done lol. Gotta make it factory or better I always say lol. Happy Holidays 🎄

The flickering thing happens on motorbikes too. Grab an Oxford indicator resistor from a motorbike shop and you'll be set. Also with LED strip's, if you rough up the silicon cover of the strip, it will give a more even light along the length instead of individual lights. Love the videos, keep it up mate, you've inspired me to get cracking on my TT
I have this flickering with my Angel eyes in my Peugeot 206 they are wired in via “parking” lights do you reckon i need a resistor in it to?
If the parking light loom is configured for higher power delivery than then lights need (like from Halogen or Xenon to LED) a resistor typically fixes it. Resistors are usually pretty cheap, so I'd recommend giving it a go@@Ginokhu

add a capacitor in parallel between the negative and positive pin of the led, this will keep the voltage stable

The LED's are not going to stop flickering.
Always drive LED products using an LED power supply that's designed for the job. ...
Make sure all your LED products are compatible with the control circuits and power supply you're using.

@@Rekoyl116 correct after reading the instructions i had for a LED light kit from my sons old Peugeot which said it needs the power supply then i looked up Mat's lights which were for a home insulation I.E mains current (AC) but he is running them on 12v DC that was the clue that he needs a controller that led me to GOOGLE and less typing.🤣🤣🤣
You can wire a ballast load resister across the positive and negative of the leds to trick the system into thinking a bulb is still in there
@@leonsavern5729 Ah yes like some idiots have done to get rid of airbag lights on a dash I knew I had seen something with resistors but just couldn't remember exactly were.

Glad you kept the back end of the Lambo open. Looks the biz with the new pipes and painted turbos!! 👍
For the light flickering, try putting a relay in between. That should habe enough resistance for the Lambo control circuit to "look" like a bulb.

Yeah, you need load resistors when going from incandescent to LED. They're really inexpensive though. I've upgraded my past cars/SUVs and motorcycles to LED and it prevents hyperflash if a turn signal or flickering if a steady light.
You guys should absolutely go to the Shmoosem that would be insane.😊 Merry Christmas Mat and everyone I've been loving the videos.
15:30 There are "special" LED for CAN-nus controlled light. They have low resisters over plus and minis to stimulate a normal light bulb.
I suggest to buy one of those and solder the LED strip to it.

Hi Matt. Best case install a capacitor to stop the flickering. But if the LEDS are blinking then you still have some electrical issue. Resistors are good for old fashioned bulb flicker.

You need to get a better stick on the light aswell the factory tape on the back is terrible with rain slashing up off the road they will drop off onto your very hot exhaust and then fire 🔥
