Neymar has to overreact because players unnecessarily fouled him, I realized this after taking a closer look at his matches, he gets kicked around and nobody does anything about it so he has to overreact. Also his Dives are to anticipate his fall so he doesn't get hurt worse, obviously because of the type of football and skill he plays with his is a target so you can't blame him too much.

0:01 Pulls his shirt blatant foul
0:06 clips his leg and makes no contact with the ball but he milked the fall
0:34 grabs Neymar and stands in front of Neymar to impede him but trys to take his hands away at the last second to act like he didn’t touch him
0:40 if you pause the clip you’ll see that the defender on the left gets in between Neymar and the ball to kick his trailing leg before going after the ball. He did fall theatrically tho
1:10 if you showed the full shot of the clip you’d see Neymar rolls his ankle and the defender stands on it while he’s trying to turn.
1:22 blatant foul the defender catches his legs and makes no contact with the ball he did roll like 100 times & milk that tackle tho lol
1:45 another blatant foul you can say he rolls a lot but he made no contact with the ball and intentionally tripped Neymar.

Most of the fouls were indeed fouls, I don't think the point of the video is to say he faked EVERYTHING. It's just the reaction is, usually, VERY disproportionate or simply faked. You can actually notice he acts a lot cause he almost always puts his hands on his ankle even if his shirt was pulled or if he was bumped on his shoulder or head. It's sad that such a talented player chooses to resort to this kind of bullshit.

People always ignore the fact that Neymar is purposely targeted by his opponents in matches and has been subject to several dangerous tackles in his career(2 examples being when Zuniga kneed him in the back and broke his vertebrae during the 2014 WC & when a Montpellier player tried literally choking him cause he couldn’t get the ball). He has fractured his Metatarsal, ruptured his ankle ligaments multiple times, and had adductor problems while in France ALONE. He’s the most fouled player in Europe’s top 5 leagues, gets consistently kicked during his matches, and barely gets any protection from officials so him being injured during pivotal moments in the season isn’t surprising in the slightest.
So this is what you need to understand: Neymar is a small guy, he's thin and not a tall dude, most european players are taller than him, stronger, and despite the fact that he did use to pretend injuries, today he's more mature, but that's too late, most people don't believe him anymore, everytime he falls people say he's acting. Take the game agaisnt serbia for example, the serbians are freaking huge guys, the average height of those guys is 187cm, huge guys, tall and strong guys, and out of all fouls commited by the serbians, neymar suffered 12 of those. Every match neymar plays in he's the most difficult guy for the defense to deal with, think on that.
