For the price, this is an awesome controller!
Of course, it doesn't feel the same quality as a Nintendo controller, but it is just as responsive.
The buttons and the d-pad being differently orientated never made a difference in my gaming. It was all still very natural.
If the battery life is a problem, then buy two. With two controllers you are still paying less than half the price of a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
I can't disagree with anything you said here. You're right. At $15 it's a great value option in every aspect.
Yeah, I prefer the playstation style symmetry for controllers myself.

No problem. That’s an interesting way to find a controller.
When I got this controller, I had a problem with the analog sticks being stuck in place but isn't drifting. My only solution was for me to tear it apart and rotated the sticks and it feels way better. The rumble feels great and accurate. The only gross part of this controller is that if this gets scratched, the scratches can be seen in bright environments.
Sorry to hear that, but honestly, I'm not surprised. Since this video was filmed, I feel that this controller is just meh, but for the price, it isn't terrible.

Lost my instructions and needed to pair mine to Android. Thanks for actually showing the instructions!
In order to pair it. You just have to connect it to the switch with the USB types C cord. Then press home button. The controller paired up right away. I tired it with Smash Bros. Had no issues at all. For the money i paid, I give it a 9 out of 10! We will have to see how long it holds up..

I grabbed one for my Retro Arch/Batocera set up. Having issues getting it to link via bluetooth, but Wired works well.

Yo just found your channel yeah I got this because I'm on on a hell of a budget basically found it by accident and the joycon ver and yeah I don't have a problem with this still using it hell I got me a second I'm still enjoying it.

Works with Android, too!
Start by pressing both home and A buttons at the same time, then turn your device's Bluetooth on. I have two and they both show up as different names, but yours might be called Gamepad. I don't remember what the other one was, it might have started with Xbox (strangely)

We just picked these up last night and my nephew was wondering if they'll work with amiibos? 😅 I haven't found anything about it in instructions or anywhere online just yet (but I'm also in the middle of cleaning the house 🤣 just trying to keep ADHD kiddo entertained while I work 😪😂) tysm for all the help!

I can’t get it to charge. I’ll plug it it the light will sometimes flash and turn off.
This things aren’t that reliable. I’m not surprised it isn’t working probably. Use a different cable and if that doesn’t work, just exchange or return it.

Hey Red Bandana, whenever I use my controller on Super Mario Odyssey, it just doesn't pick up any button or joystick inputs. Do you know what's wrong?
It's junk. Since I've done this video, I've heard so many issues with this controller. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. If you want a cheap Switch wireless controller, you might be better off getting one on Amazon, tbh.

No it doesn't harm anything. Yes, it works with the Lite.

Couldn’t get mine to sync. Charged just fine, light is on, but plugged in or not, controller menu, add controller, nothing. Hitting middle and y or y repeatedly after home, or any button, nothing. :(
That doesn't really surprise me for a five below product. I was honestly surprised mine was able to sync as easily as it did.
@@RedBandanaGaming Actually I got it working. I went to a completely different menu than "add new controller". I went to the normal "hit the power and L + R to activate a controller" and that was it. Don't know why add new controller is even an option since that didn't work for me.
@@themaster408 that's odd, like really odd. But whatever, it worked and that's what's important.
@@RedBandanaGaming the ONLY thing I can think of is MAYBE add controller slightly detected it, but never actually 'synced' and then when I did the 'hey here's the controllers I want to use" that it then was like "oh yeah I detected you for a hot second"
