@@rhilack2748 lol not all of us according to my dna Irish is one I don’t have. I have French German and a little Swedish dna but the rest is English Midlands.
John Lennon was so Irish that he wrote a song called "Luck of the Irish." "You should have the luck of the Irish, and you'd wish you was English instead!"
I love Irish folk music, but more in the direction of Altan, Clannad or Mary Black. That is what I think of first. And then there is the Bing Crosby and Gene Kelly current of Irish music. There are many strands, take your pick. And then songs in Irish Gaelic too. And Carolan. Endless possibilities. There is something Irish for everyone.
Actually, Lennon, McCartney and Harrison were/are Irish. Their heritage is well documented. Their brilliance as songwriters and as Irishmen is well noted as well.
@@TelecastPropellor96 they know/knew John and Paul wrote songs supporting the Irish cause. Paul wrote ‘Give Ireland back to the Irish’ And John wrote ‘The luck of the Irish’
That didn't sound irish, this guy needs to study celtic music, that was bad, and most importantly since apparently this was meant to be funny... That was not funny.
