I find this beyond belief given that for three years I have been trying to get the Yorkshire branch of the EA to take various actions to ease the stress on the protected creatures in the River Loxley environment.For instance they have during the last two years and possibly longer not enforced a single abstraction licence,and possibly for longer.Whatever they say they will do seems to fall far short of effective action.and I do wonder if they really want to listen to anyone except themselves.Polite but ineffective and perhaps needing serious reform like the new Office for Environmental Protection.The Loxley fish were not stressed they were buried alive by excavation in the river.
