Probably in the minority here, but I was not the least bit miffed by the "reduction" for Tifa. Totally makes sense now that we have highly realistic character models with sophisticated motion physics that the highly athletic and almost balletic brawler chick wouldn't have an unwieldy rack with which to contend. At the very least, a highly endowed female fighter would lock those puppies down with some kind of serious sports bra or other binding, which would flatten her chest considerably. In short, so long as they aren't "throttling back" for the usual lame SJW reasons, I've got no gripes.

From my experience every work place has one, never worked at a place that didn't have one, at least not in like an office type setting, which is the only places I worked at so far.

My ONLY issue/worry is this will be done episodically and I have no faith we will see the part 2 to this game for 2 or 3 years... let alone a eventual physical copy of the total finished game.
You think they will spend 5 years on doing part 1 and then take a 30 year vacation? They are doing this right and it takes time. Sorry it's not being released on 5 bluray discs in 2022.
@@coltimusprime2518 I think episodic content is a horrible business practice for me the consumer.... and I think I can EASILY see Squaresoft taking 1 year to release part 2.

@@michaelcoffey1991 so you expect to pay 60 bucks to play a potentially 300 hour game( if they released 3 episodes)? Do you really expect a 1:1 remake? Sorry to disappoint. it is not. i think the story will go deep and expand. Did you see the size of midgar? . it will be unrealistic to expect to spend 9hours(10% of the original ff7 if you actually spend 90 hours on the whole game) on a town that huge. You forgot that it is build to scale.
Also considering ff7remake midgar is worth 50-60 hours of playtime. im wondering how long the rest of the world will take. 450 hours? Who knows.Even they dont know how its gonna be in the future. This is hard to imagine in terms of scale.

Unnatural during all the action? Like on the Highwind when Weapon flies by? What was even going on there, anyway? That was such a weird scene.

That's a good question if they include him in the first episode. I was imagining that the first episode will be until finish of 1CD so getting to the World map which would mean that he would be included but on the other hand what's the point having new character join you near the end of the game? Maybe he will be like a temporary character who just helps but doesn't have like full mechanic etc. We will see!

I don't care about Tifa. Actually, I think people who bitch about her breasts are really pathetic. If anything, I prefer breasts to be more realistic. I have never had a thing for giant, unnatural and unproportional boobs. But I really don't care much either way.
I'm not sure what to think about the Honey Bee Inn sequence. When you think about it, I'm not sure if it would be as funny with realistic graphics to see Cloud being washed by a group of burly men. Some things just don't work with a more realistic setting.
All we’ve seen looks great, but I’m not sure how to feel about them turning a 5/6 hour part of the game into a 40 hour or so experience... I’m scared the game is going to be padded out we meaningless stuff... fingers crossed that’s not the case.
Charlie T'noku well I think it’ll be up to people. Those who want to stick to basic storyline can do so and only invest time on required stuff. Rest all can explore the vast variety of side quest options, kind of like GTA and Witcher 3, which will be time consuming but equally rewarding
Kapil S i don’t mean the side questy optional stuff. I’m afraid they will pad out the critical path to justify the full price they all for the game. Hopefully I’m wrong though...
@@wettowelsandfirstaid its not a 1:1 remake. its an expansion of storylines.i doubt it will be just fillers to waste your time. They would not be so stupid to do that. People would actually get angry if that happens.

@@wettowelsandfirstaid FFXV is a disorganized mess that took 15 years due to creating an open world engine TWICE. LOL lots of hicups along the way and rushed out content at the final 2 years. Yes Hopefully Square does not screw this one up. They know its their last chance. No one would trust them if they fail to deliver.
I could care less bout cloud cross dressing or honey bee inn, ff7 has sooo much more content that those parts will not be the end all be all of this game I’m interested in how Jenova is gonna be depicted, how the Shinra massacre scene will play out, president Shinras son how will he be depicted, how the Turks will be depicted, if red xiii will show up as a test subject of hojos in his lab or will he be seen in the later games will sephiroth pop on more than one occasion during the game things like that
They can change the fate and do the right thing save aerith on this remake!!!

I was stoked for this game when they showed off the game footage and trailers last week. Now I'm not sure... I found nothing wrong or offensive about any of the content of the original but now we have to tiptoe around every issue because SOMEONE might be upset by it... Also not sure I like them adding new story elements... I really don't want this to get out of hand, it was a long game as it is... No need to add to it!

Interesting, a game with cross dressing and trans characters. Seems quite ahead of its time considering it was a 90’s game.
Xsari dragon quest had them earlier (dq6 had a transvestite I know)

I'm a trans woman myself and the scene always bothered me. It's not really quiet as bad a lot of other similar bad jokes like that because nobody really finds it weird but Cloud. Though I do feel like there's a simple thing they could that I think would improve the scene dramatically and get rid of any gripes: if you can keep the dress and make cloud wear it whenever you feel like. I don't think Squenix would do it. But there's a lot this would do. First, if you don't care, it changes nothing because it's an option. Second, the game would send a message that after all the jokes that it doesn't actually mean any disrespect. And third, it completely contextualizes the joke if you can decide that Cloud actually liked wearing all along. BadWrongFun While i'm bothered by them changing or removing thing such as that scene or toning down Tifa i'm all for them adding whatever they want such as the ability for cloud to wear a dress. I wish they would keep it all the same but add some more quests with them as a part, taking it from just being a joke at the start to maybe making you really like the characters.

I look forward to how they do the scene in the exact same scope as the original. After that scene and the crossdressing sequence serves the purpose of infiltrating Don Corneo's Whorehouse, it has no reason to be a part of the game. This also spoken as a Transwoman who adores OG FF VII's aesthetic and found nothing to be offended by.
The whole Honey Bee Inn thing was cringy though and Cloud's character wouldnt be so passive the way it was presented in the original release, so I'm happy they are toning it down. (Lol at the notion of Purple Dress Cloud as DLC tho, but plz no).
rdr2 didn't have that much content, in fact Elder scrolls morrowind had more. what rdr2 was filled with is dead air graphics like horse balls, and pointless npc, which irrc assassins creed had more, just wasn't a open world.
If I were to make a video game it would be full with sexy chicks with hot body and a bunch of badass, white warriors beating the shit out of monsters and making out with those girls. Then I would wait for the critics, feminists and soy boys to present their reviews before I would laugh in their face!! Ahh, such temptation...

Anything funny/cartoon will ruin the game, they made the remake look more realistic and made it's tone more serious than the one on ps4, just seeing this now clowd act like a sassy in his female outfit will be so cringe, hyper super ultra cringe. And we'll see when it's out, let's hope I'm wrong.
