Same here man and Iâm too young to know how it was back then but just based on what time he was telling me before the interview, and even during the interview, it was really taboo and I think the movies all just came out at the right time because of how taboo it was
@@420scene your 100% right bud, I can remember way back when if you had a joint you felt like you were carrying around plutonium or something, and if you smoked and had to go around family or certain people you couldn't enjoy it, it'd make me feel like I'd just murdered someone or something my family are really strong background in church and what not and I'm telling you it's like they knew when you were high and they'd shun you lol I swear but seems like if ya took off to a pool hall or something and smoked among others my own age only then I could enjoy it. You'd be amazed at how much of a social phobia I have now because of that like when I first started in the coal mines it was really taboo to do anything like that and it's taken me nearly 20 years to break that mentality tho sometimes I still feel like I'm doing something wrong when I smoke even though I know it helps me... Did you grow up like that? I'm curious to know if anyone else grew up like that đ€·đ»ââïžđđ€·đ»ââïž
@@friendsinlowplaces619 I think I didnât grow up like that only because I started at a later age. I didnât start partaking in cannabis until about 2010. Cannabis wasnât really a big thing when I went in high school, and I was mostly focused on music and broadcasting.
@@420scene 2010, wow I feel really old lol first time I ever smoked was in 91 and I loved it then but ya had to plan a whole thing and get away from everyone to do it the stigma of it always made me feel like ppl always knew, like even after it wore off I still felt like ppl knew and judged me but nowadays it's actually "cool" to partake in it parlayed by rappers celebs etc, but I've always enjoyed it, but seems like the older I get the less tolerance I have or more sensitive I become to it. Like I have to micro dose to enjoy it now my oldest boy has seizures and he's been taking cannabis for around 2 years now and tho he's went seizure free which is a blessing, he can smoke like a freight train and you never know me more than 4 hits I'm calling it quits cause I'll get sick and throw up and it's like a terrible hangover.... Do you know anyone else who experience this same issue? đ€·đ»ââïžđ

Not what I was expecting from this interview, but what a great piece! The homeless convo really hit me. I danced on the tip of a syrynge for almost 2 decades. In the end I was one of those guys w the sign begging for money. June 3 2016 I begged God to remove the obsession and completely rebuilt my life over the last six years. Best most fruitful parts of the past six have been when I'm helping people that need it the most. People say the same shit to me " why you giving them money? They're on drugs."
I always respond I don't care what they buy. If that's what they need at that moment hen that's what they need.....not my opinion.....my help. Great piece bro.
Iâm really sorry to hear what you went through but Iâm glad that you got a lot better. I was also homeless most of my adult life. Believe it or not. But everything worked itself out. Going through what we go through is what makes us stronger in the end. I know it sounds clichĂ© but I think itâs very true and Iâm glad you enjoyed the interview mess. It was a lot of fun and weâre definitely going to do it again maybe in the spring time.
Troy Harvey. That's my attitude also and as you would well know, if you don't get that fix, whatever it maybe be. It could kill you if you don't have it. Regardless of wanting to quit, using it as a crutch for pain, or that self destructive spiral.

Heck yeah man, I was definitely lucky to have a session. Tommy was really cool and it just felt like I was talking to a friend. I was nervous at first but then it only took less than a minute until I was relaxed. Very humble and very cool.

Tommy told me that he digs the channel. It was a really good time and the interview ended up lasting longer than he was supposed to. His business manager called to kind of ended and me and Tommy ended up talking another half hour which is awesome.
