Watched this the other night and was completely blown away by it. I think it might be one of the best weapon fight scenes I've ever seen. I loved the frantic, overwhelmed nature, the endless enemies. The way he just kept getting hit and powers through it, slaughtering everyone with such brutal efficiency. This film is the kind of thing "What If" should be, unique elseworld tales of characters in different timelines and dimensions.
Not to get off topic, but as a longtime Godzilla fan who doesn’t like the MonsterVerse Godzilla movies, I’ve actually been VERY impressed by some of the MonsterVerse fan films I’ve seen on CZcams, so I know EXACTLY how you feel, Chris! I actually look forward to seeing the MV fan films more than the actual MonsterVerse movies, anymore, because the fans do a much better job at characterizing the monsters, developing the world, and actually deliver on what people want to see from those movies. Even though they’re obviously on a much smaller budget, those MV fan films are much more thematically satisfying to watch because the people involved legitimately care about the kaiju genre and actually take the time to flesh things out to do the monsters justice, which is more than I can say about most (if not all), of the actual MonsterVerse movies.
Just watched thanks to this and its a great interpretation of the character if he was a viking .personally if he had hints of the hair that would of seemed more like the character forced into a time and environment he didn't belong.
It was great. However a detail I picked up, if this was an origin video, then he shouldn't have metal claws. They should've been bone claws unless he traveled back in time and just assimilated to the viking lifestyle
Followed the link to watch. It's everything you said and more. Think a more appropriate foe would be Sabretooth. More able to fit into the viikng world.
This is how Wolverine movies should be. He's got blades coming out of his hands, there should be blood and guts. PG is not the way to depict Wolverine.
"cool fight scenes, stupid ass dialogue." buddy, the irony is palpable. you just described nearly every MCU movie ever made. this combat was seriously impressive for many reasons and no MCU scene can be compared to it, simple as that. Winter soldier, MAYBE, but even then, not as memorable. the dialogue fits the era as well, magnetos actor i can't deny was a little stiff though. otherwise, DEFINITELY better than the current MCU.

God bless the youtube algorithm for showing me this, absolutely amazing
Awesome and there is a Green Lantern fan film currently filming right now
just watched it myself it is brilliant
Just watched this yesterday man I hope they can continue such a amazing short film
This was peak fan filmmaking. These guys seriously need to be recognized and given a bigger budget.
Dude! Thank you for sharing this. You KNOW how I feel about fan films and the profound impact they’ve been achieving lately. Seriously, thank you.
If I recall correctly, the budget for Logan the Wolf was around $5000. A very well done fan film.
how are his claws metal back in the viking era if he wasn't given adamantium yet?
Exactly!!! That's what I'm saying!
The creator mentioned that they tried using bones, but the bones look like branches so they resorted to use the metal look

Why does this viking Logan have the metal claws? Bone claws would have made more sense for both stylistic and lore related reasons.
The Creator specified that they were bone Claws with a sharper design
@@brettcrampton4811 Ah cool. It was hard to tell from lighting/sound design. That was really my only gripe. It was a great fan film.
@@tristandevlin6667 thats fair. I completely understand and agree that metal claws wouldnt really fit so im really glad they went with what they did.
Stellar fan film
I watched that fan film WAAAY too many times yesterday XD
Ikr, it’s one of the best choreography fights I’ve ever seen and it’s a damn fan film.
@@Sebastian04223 I love the MCU, but come on! It's clear they've been slacking off XD

It's not an origin logan was born in 1832 so this is variant he gets his metal claws from norse gods ☺️
@@jd_-3810 hmm. Interesting take

Unfortunately I have watched it and now I think Deadpool and Wolverine won't be able to come even close to this.
People always gotta do extra it’s better than the mcu calm down lol.
You are allowed to show your reaction to the whole thing not just review the aftermath of it
Everything is better than modern MCU.
MCU Viking style ...can't beat a bad ass Viking with blades coming out of his fists..😊

This was a dumb fan film. Cool fight scenes but stupid ass dialogue. Def not better than the current MCU lol
You do better then.
Yea
