Ever find a cache?my husband an his brother hunted hours one day,and didn't do well,I found an over turned tree,an in the roots a perfect Benton,,we decided to leave,a light in the middle of the road,(this was a nursery in tenn) blinded us,the sun was reflecting off of this object,my brother in law stopped immediately ,my husband an brother in law,darted out of truck,I was in middle, there layed a large quartz worked stone, which had reflected the sun,an around this the most perfect, unbroken lost lake,piece I ever seen,with a dovetail,and same period pine tree points,I have the whole lot and will never sell,what is most fascinating is we had only drove about twenty feet from where we parked...

Your videos amaze me! I live in N. GA and used to hunt these in an uncle's garden every year when he tilled it up. He owned about 100 acres beside a very big creek but only plowed about 10 acres. We found so much out there but not much that were compete. He found a lot, but he was there 24/7. I no longer have access to that property, but I still look around that creek but have never found as much as a chip. Any ideas? I kind of follow your creek walking, but never find anything. That particular creek is so big and deep that it would be hard. Plus digging in the banks would be trespassing. I love this kind of stuff and would like to get my children into it

Man those are freaking awesome… I’ve got my nephew interested in hunting some points with me… We’re lucky we live in the North west corner of Ga near the trail of tears. I found a few when I was a kid near the Chattooga river. I’m excited to get back into it and even more excited that my little nephew is interested… He just turned 15 about a month ago.
@@Theditchwalker Yeah I believe you’re right, most of them are quartz which are typically crude looking and I’ve seen some black ones and grey ones… I’m not real familiar with what kind of stones they’re made from…😄 I’m sure I’ll learn after a while. It amazes me how y’all can just pick one up and know the time period it was made and what kind of stone it’s made from… 😂 I can’t wait to go look around the Chattooga river. Highway 337 near the upper part of the Chattooga river says trail of tears original route… I’ve gotta study up on where to look and what to look for. If you have any insightful videos drop a link please. My nephew is very excited and honestly I am too just to have somebody to go looking with me…😁

Awesome finds man. I live in the piedmont of North Carolina. About 30 min from the Virginia line. And falls lake is surrounding the area. Creeks rivers streams everywhere. Last year i found a perfect tiny arrowhead made out of quartzite. It was about an eighth of a inch long. Ive never looked up 2hat 8t would be used for. But i am now. Keep em coming.

Strange how every point you found in the video are perfectly clean! No patina, no algae, no nothing... no creek staining!

Absolutely incredible finds. I hope to go arrowhead hunting in MS someday. It seems that MS has the best hunting grounds of all of the YT channels.
When you show a point that is ancient, it makes me think of how the tool was used to feed a family and what the forested land had to offer.
