I really enjoyed Kim’s. Simu is an amazing actor with great depth and kind personality.
I'm from Sri Lanka (close to India) and I love Kim's Convenience. Most of my friends do as well. It is such a wholesome show and despite obvious strains in relationships it never turns ugly or cruel because at the core everyone is bound by a whole lot of love for each other. For example sometimes I hate Kimchee because of how he treats Jung but you can see the love. It's complex but it's there. Also, Simu pls visit our country sometime
Kim's Convenience is of the best shows that's come along in ages, my wife and I just love it, and interviews like this help me love it even more. Also, Tom Power needs a lot more credit for being such a good interviewer and host. Super Newf!
Really hope the show has many more seasons
I read that it is been renewed for two more seasons, but because of the virus they don’t know when the next season will come out, maybe not until 2022, but I love the show too and I’ll wait

I love this show! watching it from Hong Kong on Netflix. All the actors have such great chemistry and the sweet humour of it all is precious. It calms me down in the 'war zone' of HK at the moment, thank you!

Wow Simu spoke really, really well here - especially around the conversation around immigration families - very real, and I want a link to this letter he wrote now! I'm also happy that his parents didn't feel gaslighted or more distanced!

Yes Malaysia ! I finished 4 season in 2 weeks with Netflix binge watching . I have friends finishing in 5 days time . It is a good show at its core with great comedy elements , good characters and fantastic writing . Can’t wait for season 5 .

Apah is the term for "dad" in Korean. Just fyi. It's not the dad's "character's name". Come on bruh ;)
It's how Mr Kim is referred to in the credits, probably because it's what he's so often called by other characters.

I love Simu and his character as Jung but Kimchee has to goooo. No offense, but I don't think he (Kimchee) is a good character as he is not funny and he's not good at acting.
Kimchee is awesome. Whach talking abt. Both Jung and Kimchee are awesome. If he is acting bad it might be coz of character turning that way. For me season 1 was the best.
