Dude, I just gotta say, I'm loving this series. I was recommended the first episode by the youtube gods when it came out, and boy did I strike gold. This series inspired me to make my own underground-only world, similar to yours. I haven't found any other series as chill and laid-back as this one. Please never stop this series! 🙏🙏 Also, can I get a pin :D
Ayo, he got the pin!
Since stampy recently ended his world, I feel like this is the gods adultified replacement. This guys stuff is awesome and it’s tragic he doesn’t get more recognition
@@kerringtonwulsh8213Ikr! :D
@@nolanadams8534 Dude EXACTLY. I love this guy's content so much

I hate being bipolar, it’s awesome
I have every mental illness
How about some color coding for each of the villager buildings? Like sprinkling some red into the one with clerics? I think that'd look dope.

@@v0id_d3m0n what is the google translate on your comment😂
I think this is a very nice idea
Something tells me you really love villager trading halls. The villager empire must expand, the cave dwellers have nothing to defeat you.
Ive had a similar world where the floor was on bedrock and used deepslate as the main block. It looks really nice with leaves, azalea leaves and now the new cherry blossom trees.
warped wood from the nether is a versatile block and you can get it easily enough once you go to the nether, but that turquois color goes well with the deepslate.
idk but i think some green accents with moss leaves or grass would look sooo dope + some dark stained glass
Stairs my man, stairs are your friend. Upside down stairs!Slabs, walls, and trapdoors are also useful blocks to use for whatever construction madness over takes you.
If you want a suggestion for Deepslate color palette. My favorite aesthetic block combo with deepslate is spruce logs/planks, stripped logs too.
Acacia or mangrove could look cool too
Anything really good with deepslate
the wandering traders are most likely spawning on the surface of the chunk you’re playing in
To be fair, even if you can't insta-mine deepslate with Efficiency 5 and Haste 2, either or both definitely still speeds the work up by a LOT.
Also I loved the parts where you were talking about the comments on previous videos. It's a good way to engage people.
There's a machine called a tunnel bore that is insanely good for gathering deepslate and revealing ores. Not sure how helpful it'd be for you but it's easily the best way to break deep slate. If you wanted to travel a long distance without going to the surface then I'd definitely recommend it.
this could be a cool redstone pursuit for juice
@@vcka very, it'd be the best for getting diamonds, redstone, and gold.
Sooo, for the wandering traders, they only spawn on the surface in a 20x20 chunks area around the player, the percentage for them spawning doubles every day and every 10 days its basically set to spawn one, but yeah, only surface, kinda sucks(also, im not sure but it might just be prioritizing highest block for spawn, correct me, im ready)
I really enjoy your commentary on all your videos. Keep up the great work boss!
“And we have 1,2,3 P.O.W camps”
😭
When the game spawns a wandering merchant, it basically rolls a die for every available spawning space starting at the top of the chunk and moving down, so it would be really difficult to find one underground.
It's been a year or so since I messed with them and made a farm for them, so I don't quite remember if this is fully accurate, so take it with a grain of salt.
librarians can offer enchanted books as a trade offer for levels 1-4, and only offer name tags for level 5 in java versions 1.14+. some changes were introduced during experimental features but unless you're playing on a new snapshot with that enabled don't worry about it. (mostly changed what kinds of villagers have access to kinds of enchantments. swamp=mending etc)
first level is split between buying paper (24), selling bookshelves (9 emeralds), or an enchanted book. They can sell all enchantments, at all levels of the book, with the only exceptions being swift sneak, and soul speed
I am loving this series, it's already given me a whole different mindset towards the game and life in general, I am especially loving these longer videos. You're voice has a nice sound to it, and every time I get a new video from you my day is just that much better. Keep this up, 10/10.
Long live baby menace seagull
2:22 “a pawn doesn’t care what a chess board looks like only the player does” is something i’m gonna quote till i’m old
Heres an idea for ya, instead of going to the surface to travel to the stronghold, go up once every say 400 blocks, throw an eye and then head back down and mine your way to the stronghold, that way, you have a direct route to the end
Librarian trades: that change is better and worse than you think, but it's also only in experimental so far. Will probably be default in 1.21. With that option turned on, you'll always know what books librarians will trade, but it'll be dependent on what biome they were born in - all plains librarians will have one set of trades, all swamp librarians will have another, etc.
And yes, taking the time to make the builds visually appealing will help a lot with motivation.
For the trading halls... If it were me, I'd be arching the ceiling up a bit more in the aisles, probably with a bit of a "rib" every 3rd or 5th pillar that's a half block lower. Would add a lot of depth to the build and make it even more interesting to look at. I'd probably do those out of deepslate bricks and polished deepslate and only use the tiles on the higher parts of the ceiling, to give an extra indication that the ribs are heavy structural reinforcement.
Explains about the slowness of building the trad hall with villagers in, Does exactly that one block at a time 😂😂😂, dig the series keep them coming
the 2block high passage is killing me
According to the wiki, when spawning a wandering trader, "ten attempts are made to find a valid mob spawning location on the uppermost block of a random X/Z position within -48/+47 of the target location on each axis.". I think that means that they will spawn on the highest possible position, likely on the surface, so they won't spawn underground. That's probably why people often find wandering traders on the roofs of their base.
Also, I think one thing that goes real well with the deepslate palette is copper blocks. In the orange and green stage they just look amazing, it does take a while for them to oxidize though.
Edit: Also its true that you can't insta-mine deepslate, but from my experience it is still faster to do that than to bonemeal moss
You could also build like the most fancy good looking strip mine. Anyways amazingingly done today
maybe mojang should add some more ways to increase mining speed that stack with the current, like a potion or something.
Honestly this made me think about how lazy i’ve been when building stuff, making me want to make want stuff to look better when building. So thank you really
Dye the signs with glow ink, would look great for the underground
Amazing video. Can't wait to see where this world goes.
Two farmers for golden carrots will definantly be enough
Love this new style of content from you, I pray you go full time CZcams in the future so we can continually see your channel develop.
The villiger changes in 1.20.2 are expirimental and you have to enable them, if you don't enable them it works as normal
I love this series uploading so fast and I can't wait for the next one already
Bro talks to us like we are right there with him. I love it
Juice 100% will need to biuld a monument to the buff baby seagull
Juice is building a kingdom, and every kingdom clearly needs a king.
And said king could only be the magnificent buff baby seagull.
I am pretty sure the idea behind making deepslate not instamineable is that it is meant to make you go mining in caves instead, because Mojang expects that people make their bases higher up and only go down to mine.
Honestly I like the lower effort videos more especially when they are getting pushed out almost every day. Love the work keep it going
juice is keeping me from loosing my sanity rn
I believe wandering traders do not spawn underground. In an SB737 cave-only 100-day video, he needs to somehow go to the surface to find one.
I'm not sure if Mojang has changed that. But since you have at least 2 villages (breeding zone and trading hall) which will spawn wandering traders, and still not see one in 90+days, I'll guess it's not changed
I love these videos so much keep up the good work man
Seeing you put those upside down stairs on the wrong spots on like 4 complete walls was hilarious :))
I know the pattern was technically random with the two stair types but it made my mind tweak lol
Wandering traders spawn around villages when the player is around but there needs to be a lot of space for him to have a chance, if you made a room bigger or a big room with a bell to afk in the middle of then you can have a chance maybe(and by big room I mean breaching your render distance so nothing else can spawn in the lit up area) here’s a hint dig to a jungle and try to fish for bamboo so you can start a farm you’ll have a lot of scaffolding to raise the ceilings
You learn so much about the game by doing a challenging play throughs 😮 is juice turning into a builder ?
Everybody was KUNG FU BUILDING
Best crossover bro
wish i could casually tame a seagull
This series feels very old school which is refreshing
Have you got an opinion on creating lore to assist you in building the story of your world. For example, if you are building a break off Dwaven society it might lead you to think about what they would have done/why things are the way they are. For example, how would they have gotten food while living deep in the caves, why are they there? Do they need Defence’s against the zombies? Is that why they have gone underground?
Just something that helps me to build my world. Looking forward to the season!
Personally I like red and orange with the darker blocks I would also get some black stone from the nether to add to the pallet
you might be able to mine deepslate faster if the blocks are at the edge of your mining range. i believe its possible on bedrock but not too sure if it works on java
Sadly it doesn’t work on Java
I've been loving these videos sooo much
You can insta kine deepslate but only in bedrock edition if you stay at the edge of your reach
i love the seagull tangent
whenever i see babies doing that squeaking theres always an adult watching nearby
i think they send their babies as bait for food LOL
also you may get pigeons
i'm obsessed with pigeons and doves so give them some love from me
wandering traders used to be able to spawn underground but not anymore
personally, i like to use deepslate with smoothstone, copper (both oxidized and unoxidized work well, but personal pref is unoxidized), oak, maybe the occasional bit of dark oak if im feelin it.
honestly i can really see this build with a lime green in the color palette
contrast between the deepslate bricks and the lime green concrete would be really cool

@@HungerGamesFan88 yeah
Great series bro keep it up
My favorite series is back!
I know they're basically sky rats but you prolly shouldn't feed them bread. Nutrient poor but it makes them feel full. If you can get dried corn or maybe seeds. Try to get stuff with niacin
At a certain version they do spawn underground (Wandering Traders) but normally no they don't.
i will say the instamining rant kinda drove me crazy, yes deepslate is not instamineable because it has a higher hardness, if you compare it with something slower like stone tools you'll notice it's slower to break than regular stone, we are just barely able to instamine stone with our current tech, haste 2 is just barely enough for it. However I do think mojang should add some way to get haste potions and allow us to get level 3 or whatever it is to instamine deepslate. Also cobblestone has a slightly higher hardness than stone which is why its not instamineable
I love this series😊
Wandering traders only spawn on the surface or to be more exact under sunlight
Wandering traders attempt to pathfind towards the player that made them spawn at first after spawning tho so if you just afk close to the surface and have holes with trapdoors around you they should walk to you on their own. Wandering trader spawning is pretty slow.
Just a little tip for you personally: if you want to be a bit more efficient even with decorating your builds it can be a good option to put blocks into your offhand and instantly replace the block you just broke;) it'll save you a little time
Loving this new content! Btw, bread isn’t good for birds, cat food or something is better, worth a google I would say :)
Nothing wrong with something being utilitarian, but for hobbies, aesthetics are nice, too.
Make juice the PM for 1 year, and the country will be so much better.
i can’t wait to see the late game progression
dint expect this nice one
Very thankful for this video fr
The lack of melons disturbs me!
This is the proper attitude to life.
Spruce wood goes very well with deepslate :)
a fresh upload for American National Football and Food Waste Day, huzzah!
I am kinda missing the Juice reaction videos now..
Happy Thanksgiving juice
Ahh yes my favorite thanksgiving beverage Juice 🦃
Yea you can’t instamine deepslate with haste 2, efficiency 5. It sucks but that’s how it is
So the wandering trader, that dude will always try to spawn on the highest available block, aka the surface, so bad luck there
I’m going to watch the first episode now
you should mine up more, extra open bases are worth it!!
You hit stone with a pickaxe a bunch and it actually becomes harder to break when it is a cobblestone lol
It really pisses me off how the villagers are mixed haha
Yo Juice when the Terraria 200 days videos ? And also I highly suggest you to play Gravyard Keeper, it’s a super game. I don’t want you to overdose on Minecraft hope you try the game
Hydroneer would also be interesting to see
@@HungerGamesFan88 yh that’s a cool idea
Maybe you could use some nether blocks like basalt and sht for your cave
Nice new upload 🥰
we love this stuff
yeah i dont think you should be building everything right at bedrock level so you have room to build down. Also you can use minecarts to transport items which could help with your inability to dig down.
You should avoid feeding bread to the seagulls ! it's really not good for their health. I know it's a meme that they'll eat anything, but a bit of grain, meat or fish with butter would be much better. bread isn't that nutritive to them and it hurts their stomachs in the long run
You have a nice singing voice :)
nice video
Some of the Bakery (buildteam) members has videos for how to improve your bulding skills.
It would be cool if you showed the statistics every video or something.
u need some allays down there
assuming I'm doing the math right, ten double chests full of string - not even factoring in the hoppers, or a discount down to 13 as opposed to 14 - should net you 38 stacks of emeralds plus another 36
There were 16 large chests total. I just added an additional 10 as the original 6 filled up so quickly
@juice8365 over 61 stacks of emeralds then. i fear your quickly-approaching ultimate power
get like 3 sets of armor - one to wear and 2 as backups
Curiously, why do you cut every time you open the F3 menu?
red is a cool colar with dark you can use netrer blocks for it
you should make an iron farm from all the villagers you have
JUIIIICEEEEE WOOOOO A NEW VID
They fixed wandering traders awhile ago to only spawn on surface
