- Hey y'all, We had a call about another flooded pasture so we met with the landowner and looked at his problem. We set out some beaver traps and we will check them tomorrow! Thanks for coming along.

That's way warmer Beaver trapping then I'm used to never done it myself but went with my Dad in the 70s. Conibear through the ice would check line on snowmobile and sled he made. A few great Christmas when he caught a bunch between Fox beaver coon mink back when they were worth something he would flesh and stretch them all.

Nice set up Craig, I know what some folks do with their catches, but what do you do with yours. Do you sell the pelts or keep them to make things, do you eat the meat. And so on, great post was fun watching you work
Hey Pappy! Yes sir I sell the pelts and the castor glands and euro mount the skulls. I use the beaver tail for coyote lures. I will eat them if they are fresh but it’s kinda iffy sometimes lol. Sometimes we’ll use the meat for bait too.🙂👌 I sure appreciate ya watchin buddy! 😊🇺🇸👏👏👍
