I watch you since you were still on that small studio, and always when you face with a new project, you do it, and you'll do it again. You're a great guy, and you deserve it. I'll be praying for you!
I must say that I miss your daily videos. I learned so much from you and I felt like you were my teacher back then. I understand that you couldn't possibly keep that up forever, but it was great when you had them on everyday. I used look forward to see what you were up to daily or what you had to teach us. My favorite videos were when you would write a song and record with a singer. This gave me so much inspiration. I haven't seen you online in a few years and it felt wonderfully familiar to watch you again. Good luck at rebuilding the old studio again!
Jon, just make sure to hire a proper professional acoustics consultant when doing this. With studios, you must consider noise egress, ingress, ventilation, overheating, aside from the room acoustics themselves. This is not a DIY task. I would also imagine the city council would want a noise impact assessment of the building (at least this would definitely be the case in the UK).
But sounds so exciting once you get through the red tape! I hope you film like weekly update videos to share the process with us. If you haven't done so, check out IRKO's studio build, it's kind of similar with what you're about to embark on!
