I was driving around Florida and came across this massive and I mean MASSIVE overgrown property. What really caught my eye was the large sculptures and unique landscape style. These needed to be seen by others driving by.
I introduced myself to the homeowner Tam and asked for permission to help. Tam had just got out of the hospital and everything was getting away from him. He had paid someone to take care of the gardening but they never finished the job. Everything on this property was build by him by hand. What an amazing feat!
I really enjoyed meeting Tam. He was so full of knowledge and his kindness made my trip wonderful. He fed us lunch, let me fish his tilapia pond, and taught me about his culture and religion. His kindness will always be cherished.

Please help him clear that pond, poor fish have not seen the sun in years by the looks of it.
Fish don't need the sun, thy just need the oxygen from moving water. Sun is only needed for the plants to combat the nitrogen.
am surprised anything actually is survivng in that mess of a pond.. its so choked out from those water plants.. ppl need to either thin em out of get rid of em entirely and give that ponds eco system time to heal and refresh...ick!
Agree the pond plants need thinning to allow water to see sun and air to rejuvenate the eco system again

Actually tilapia and catfish can live in very murky, muddy water. Very common in fish farm industry. That is why it’s not the healthiest fish to consume! 🤷♀️

Thank you to Tam for letting us see his creativity and hard work. There's just so much to take in. Their gardens and that bridge are spectacular. He has certainly put in a lot of effort to create an oasis and fruitful homestead for his family. May God protect them and their property.
The sheer monumental effort of building this. Wow. A labour of love for this man. Such a creative mind.

aww Robert, I feel for Tam. I wish there was a whole group of volunteers that would be willing to help him clean it up more. I bet it was so beautiful in it's prime. He seems a bit sad and lost.

That guy is so artistic he should’ve built stuff for parks and amusement areas. That look like a bobcat going across the property.

This property is amazing and mystical.
What a stunning surreal serene place? Tam and his Uncle are very lucky to be able to build something that reminds them of their roots Some people do not have this kind of talent to reproduce something so beautiful. it looks so peaceful and quiet there even though there is a busy road just outside the front gates you would never know that was even there. I hope Tam is able to finish what he started and continue his journey. i wish him all the best.

This is a 7 acre compound. He needs a full time landscaper crew.
Or have a weed whacking party w/family and friends… I would spend an hour or two each day on this if it was my property

What an amazing, self sustaining sanctuary he’s made! It’s like their own private village!
The easy part of the garden is making it. The upkeep is the hard part.
Having spent time in Laos and South Korea, he said it best when he said it was setup like their village. It had their spiritual(meditation as you said it), their sustenance(plants and fish), and the natural beauty(flowers and gardens). He really let you have a privilege in touring that and letting you learn about it.
It looks like a lot for one person to do. But, it is a fascinating place.

I want to help clean up the discarded parts and replace all those blue plastic tubs with another color. Also power wash the dirty areas! What a wonderful site to have found!

There is no way that that poor man can keep up with both of those locations and as a consequence, some of his stuff is running down. He needs a whole crew or some volunteers to help him whip it into shape and then just maintain it. I’ll give it to him. Those are amazing features that he’s built, and I bet it is tranquil to come walk through that place.

I hope he sees the drastic changes you've made and is inspired to do more upkeep on his awesome property. Especially that pond. Poor fishies.😢He should clear some of the water plants and fill that pond up so the fish can get some clean clear water.

I agree that the pond needs some cleaning for sure. It is nice that the gentleman has set up quite a sanctuary, but it's just a little too much. I think it would be prettier if some of it weren't there. And boy oh boy what a job you got yourself into. But you never give up and always work yourself hard to please the homeowners. ❤

Here we have an example of being overly optimistic, too much property for one person to handle when you are busy building monuments. He should have saved some of the money for keeping a permanent groundskeeper to keep the property under control. Amazing job of cleanup though. I wish him much success in the future.
Sometimes life gives us more than we can handle, Tam wasn't hurting for money at all. It was much more and I can't tell you because friends don't talk about things that are ment not to share. All I can say is I send him my prayers for the family. Also he was a wonderful person very happy to have meet him. Anyway Sometimes it's not what we would think.

I had watched the first video on this magical place and that was quite the transformation on its own. wonder why Tam doesn't clean out some of the plants from the pond so overgrown, and needs thinning out, pretty cool though that you got to go fishing id love that. This place is a magical place with many characters. It looks quite peaceful and beautiful! Tam is very talented to have created everything in their family park. His house is gorgeous, too! Robert, you and Kevin did some amazing work with this property! I was amazed at the bridge that Tam built, covering the swamp, leading to his Uncle’s home. I saw the bobcat walk by in the video! 🙀 😃

Would love to see the pond when the plants are all flowering, it must look amazing. I imagine the fish most likely survive for so long because they prevent the birds from getting to them. Would be nice to see the little waterfall a bit bigger, but it’s still lovely to see.
