Hope you enjoyed this glimpse into what my day looks like as a dietetic nutrition student. Not every day looks the same and this time around I was panicking about an exam that I had coming up for my carbs & lipids course.

Great video! I’m in my last semester studying nutrition. I got into photography pretty hard over the last 6 months, so I really appreciate the thought you put into all your shots! I’m so jealous of where you get to study. I live in Minneapolis and getting around between classes is a nightmare sometimes with -20 windchill. Anyway, best of luck to you, and keep the great content coming!
love these vlogs! i would love to see more of your content
Dietetic student here in my senior year! Just finished my finals! Glad I found your channel! Hang in there! Sometimes I wanna change our major but the more I dive deep, the more I fall in love with our major! 🤍🙏
aww yay! Are you moving on to the internship next year?
@@PaulafueledI have just completed my DI! Studying for the CDR exam now :)
Omg the metabolic processes we need to learn are absolutely insane, and yet I love it 😆😆 I also made a short vlog studying medical nutrition therapy. Good luck on everything!! Virtual hugs.
I’m so excited to start my journey!!! I’ll be studying this degree At Pepperdine thanks for the video and your channel helps me know what I’m getting into!
As a dietitian I always nice to see students working hard
You can do it, hang in there it's worth it.
GOSH where do you live? What a gorgeous tree in December!!
great video and very inspiring! i’m a nutritionist based in indonesia and i’m very interested in becoming a dietitian (preferably want to study abroad, europe maybe) where do you study by the way? and do you have any recommendations? thank you! ❤
Yes honey, i know time has passed since this has been posted but i love to see beautiful black women placing their selves in higher positions This is my dream job
Which university are(were) you attending?
Love your vlog just when i was looking for my fellow Dietitians ,I'm a registered Dietetian based in Kenya.
I’m a student who just finished his kcse and I wanted to study this course☺️✨
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What classes do you have to take ? Micro bio, calculus, organic chem? Any of these? Is it basically the same pathway as pre med?
It’s all of those. I’m not too sure what the pathway to pre-med is but as you go through the progress the classes get more centralized to the degree. Like you’ll take MNT (medical nutrition therapy), carbs and lipids metabolism, protein metabolism, etc etc
You look so cute 🤍
Heyo...pls advice
I am currently pursuing my Msc Clinical Nutrition from University of Nottingham.
After my under-grad, i had one year gap due to certain circumstances. After which i had no option but opt for Nutrition course. I am interested in the Dietitics field.
Hence, my question to you is,
After my msc in clinical nutrition, can i pursue pg diploma in dietetics? Will i be eligible to give the RD exam?
Eager to hear from you.
Thank you.
You are referring to the University of Nottingham in the UK, correct?
I am not sure about the regulations there but in the US you will need a DPD certification first ( to get that from an accredited university, you will usually need certain bachelor degree courses focused on nutrition) some MS degree give it out as well I think. Then you will need to apply for an internship ( usually 2 or 3 full semesters of different practice rotations: clinical, community and food service along with some classes) then you can sit for the registration exam. Once you pass you will be a registered dietitian.
And having a masters degree is now also a requirement to sit down for the exam.
Thank you dr for your reply 😊
