- Today I take a trip to the world famous Hyde Park in London! Also bumped into HRH Prince Edward the Earl of Wessex (the Queens youngest son). Listened to the royal band play and even the parade. Topped off with a royal lunch…. Kind of

Hello Hannah from Seacoast NH 😊! Summer seems to have truly arrived in London, so many people in light colored pants and sandals. We are still struggling back and forth between really cool temps and wicked hot days here-it’s been rather odd and frustrating! Yes, I’m an American, but the National Anthem and the Union Jack stir something inside me I can’t explain. It was absolutely LOVELY to hear the music and see the parade-THANK YOU! it may have something to do with my maiden name being Browning-it’s a mystery! I have seen SO many wonderful things in London watching your vlogs! You will LOVE your air con-it makes a massive difference! See you next week 😉!

I love hanging out with you. After touring Buckingham Palace you get to hang out in the back garden and coffee shop as long as you like. I recommend not booking too late in the afternoon if you want to stay a bit longer. Also as an Aussie we are rather snobby about coffee. I found that coffee shop at the Italian Gardens to have the best coffee in the UK (just my opinion 😁)

Well that was a lovely surprise! Thank you for being so respectful of our Royal family. I know not all young people feel as you do, but as a fierce Royalist (which many of my family don't understand) I appreciate it! I was able to watch the Windsor Horse show live on US TV this weekend - loved every minute! My trip to London 2 weeks ago was everything I had hoped for and I was able to see rehearsals for many of the Jubilee events, including the final act of the Windsor Horse show, which was led my traveling companion's nephew!

That's a surprise for Hannah, to meet a member of a royal family!! We could see your feelings. This majestic garden I haven't yet seen, the little ducks observed for your mother was so cute. Happily I was using headphones, because the best part for me was to listen the garden fountains, the surrounding water sounds was perfect. 🤩🌷🌲

Loved the tour of Hyde Park. Such a cool park. I used to hang out at Speaker's Corner, back in the day when I lived there. So cool, that you spotted a royal.
Thank you Hannah for bringing back so many happy childhood memories to me. It is always nice to go there. I remember a small hill covered by rhododendrons in full bloom with bees buzzing all over. My favorite park in London is Bushy park. The icing on the cake was hearing the national anthem and also you seeing Prince Edward. Cant wait for you next walk about video. What a pity that the Diana memorial fountain is on and off. You are absolutely right: it cant be so hard to keep it running.

Hi Hannah, Thank you so much for posting this vlog. I really enjoyed the walk around Hyde park with you. I know there is a fair few people who dislike the Royal family but not me. I am honoured and very proud we have them and i'm very much looking forward to the Jubilee in June. I'm very patriotic and not only with the Royals but also when England host massive sporting events, concerts and any big occasion like the proms, Wimbeldon tennis and the like. That was exciting to see Prince Edward! So much to see in Hyde Park. I hope the Diana fountain is fixed now looks so lovely for the kids to play in now that it is warm. There were so many good things to see in this vlog so thank you again. My sister & I are planning to come to London then Paris next Aug so thanks for the tip on buying tickets early for Buckingham Palace. Now to narrow down which area to stay in lol

I have seen Diana twice. Once in Australia as the car she was in drove past my house. And the second time she almost ran me over in her blue Mercedes just outside of Kensington Palace. Got very close to her that time she stopped and rolled down her car window and said hello and then drove off.
It was a Remembrance Day for The Horseguards, the officers wear bowler hats and carry umbrellas it’s the same for The Footguards officers The Grenadier Guards had a Remembrance Day on Sunday 15th May along with The Royal Marines and a few other regiments marching to Horseguards Parade then either marching back to Wellington Barracks or finishing on Horseguards or marching off elsewhere. I remember seeing Prince Edward waving in a video on CZcams about the Remembrance Day for horseguards at least your video answered who he was waving at.
Been sick with COVID past 3 days. Oddly, I found your channel and find it very calming and therapeutic. My body is sick 🤒 but my mind and eyes can enjoy the beauty of spring in London.

I've seen the Queen twice, both times in Vancouver. Once when she was in her 40's, on her way to an event. She looked spectacular. The second time in 1987 on a walk about. She stopped right by me, but chatted to a lady next to me, who was from Seattle! Not even the Commonwealth Ha, ha. I remember thinking, she's short, and has such white teeth. It was weird later when I hopped a bus, and saw her image on the back of the coins as they fell into the fare box. Weird moment, since I had just seen her.

You should visit Holland Park next time just at the end of High Street Kensington. There's a beautiful Japanese garden there plus peacocks wandering about.
