I just purchased this GreenWorks 25302 Twin Force G-Max 40V Li-Ion 20-Inch Cordless Lawn Mower on Amazon, and here is my psuedo unboxing and initial impression review. The mower is lightweight, quiet, and does the job. Easy to start and run. For the first run I'm pleased with how this Greenworks Twin Force Battery Powered Mower cut my lawn.

Thanks for the great video. I have been contemplating buying battery yard tools for some time. I would like to have a complete set. Mower, chainsaw, etc. This looks like a great mower and your video review has helped influence my decision to go with this brand. Thanks again for taking the time to make this.

I bought this same lawn mower 4 months ago and haven't had any problems. I like the fact that I don't have to buy gas or worry about a bunch of maintenance. This summer we got a lot of rain so I've had to cut my grass every single week otherwise i'l have a jungle for a backyard. I've made that mistake before and and ended up cutting 3/4 of my backyard (bagging it) after almost 1.5 hrs of juice on my batteries. I had to charge one battery (which took close to 1 hr to re charge) before I went back to finish my backyard. Overall this lawn mower is pretty lightweight and smooth, and definitely more quiet than your conventional gas mower. I usually re charge my batteries after I'm done and they'll stay fully charged until I use my lawn mower again in a week or two. I would recommend this lawn mower if you don't have a huge back yard.

I have to mention that the running time on those batteries depends on the circumstances of your lawn. If you have thick long grass the batteries work harder therefore using some battery juice faster than shorter or thinner grass. I'd say if your grass is over 6" long you can get about 30 mins of running time out of the smaller battery and close to an hr from the bigger battery. Both batteries come with the lawn mower.

This is good for somebody like me who has a small property like 1842 Sq ft. But not for someone like my neighbor who has 5300 Sq ft. The battery won't last.

Great video! I got my Greenworks Twin Force mower and Trimmer with two batteries from Amazon last week. I'm very impressed with both products. The Trimmer trims like a champ, and you can tilt the head and wheels for edging. It edges quite well! Greenworks has made me a fan. People that use the Greenworks mower for the first time may complain about the battery use if their lawn has grown high, since it has to use more battery to cut higher grass. Once the lawn is down to a more manageable size, they will find the battery will last longer. The bigger battery takes about 1 hour and 20 to 30 minutes to charge from being completely dead. The smaller battery takes 1 hour from dead to full charge. Why next purchase will be to buy a strap for the trimmer, mine did not come with a strap.

@@arthurwood7525 Mine eats wheels. GreenWorks wheels don't have a metal insert, thus why the wheel gets wobbly from axle. I bought one in 2012, serial number GWR3641250. After buying it and using it for 2 to 3 years I had to write the company saying that I needed new 4 wheels already because the wheel axle holes were becoming enlarged with use, making the wheels wobble. The company sent me 4 free new wheels. It's 8/8/2020 now and I need 4 more new wheels again (the 3rd set) for the same reason. It's April 12, 2021, and I tried to shim the wheels with tin can metal, but no luck,. I went to LOWES where I bought the mower, but lo and behold, they don't have any Greenworks mowers on the shelf, although there are others of different brands. It looks like I am going to buy the 4 wheels by mail order. If I knew I'd be buying 4 new wheels (the second set) I wouldn't have bought this mower. In 2 years, I will probably need another set. At this point, I will be buying a new lawnmower of a different brand; this one is going in the trash in 2 years. It looks like LOWES doesn't sell this model anymore.
