I think black wanted you to open his line to green after he moved his whole stack around 51:15. He didn't know what was in orient, and the only stack he new he could hit was your cap unless you opened another path.

Nice game. I think that your cap choice could have been better. Nice move making peace with black, as magenta was threatening. If you had capped in the middle game would be very different
Magenta was an agressive attacker, if he had held the Scandi cap black was finished. Green sat in the middle and did not make many agrrssive moves, he benefited from the magenta kill. Interesting again that you did not choose the Asian capital as you would have gained easy country and had had the board ...

Haha for very very serious tournament games with fog I would bring the pot of coffee into my room so I didn't have to take my eyes off the screen

Hey Pete, I have a question. Why didnt you kill magenta right after you killed orange? Magenta had 5 cards and I think you had the troops
He would only get 15 and 20 trade, which means at best he would break even. and even a couple of 3 stacks in the fog could make the capital roll extremely risky (and with perfect dice it would still not be 100% roll)
