    @amywilkinson6288 Před rokem

    I made this top and it was very easy to follow instructions. However, mine came out way too big. I've noticed that a lot of the things that I make come out big. Even with following sizing directions. What could I be doing wrong?

    • @saskia880
      @saskia880 Před rokem

      If your dimensions turn out different that is probably your tension. You could make a small square (10x10 cm or 4x4 inch) and look in the pattern what it said. I dit the same stitches voor the gauge (the name of the square i believe) and mesured it. It turned out the same size. If it was 1,5 times larger for example, then i would make 1,5 times less stitches than the pattern calls for. So it is basically a tool to find out how your dimensions/tension differs from the pattern. Hope this helps!
