EP6: The Brake Master Cylinder | CLASSIC MINI 25 RESTORATION

This episode is about restoring the Mini Brake Master Cylinder.
New seals are fitted and everything is cleaned.
After inspection I noticed the master cylinder had some scratches in it, so it will be replaced by a new one. (That's why the part isn't painted)

Nicely done. A set of pin punches would help remove the split pin without the Mole Grips 👍

The piston is stuck with the spring for me.. cant get it out..

Hi! Maybe soak your pump in penetrating oil for a night, and then try again. Is there absolutely no movement in it? If you can get it out, make sure to check the walls of the cylinder for damage. Good luck!!
