I had the chance to go to one of Teddy's shows and meet him, he took a picture with me and my wife. He was incredibly nice we were both watching a football game on our phones during the meet up so we thought that was funny. He gave us a big hug before saying bye. So much talent and kindness!
Teddy is from Georgia and was a football player before starting his singing career.
The voice, the grit but also the whisper, especially in the beginning. It's like he was feeling the quietness of the bedroom and didn't want to be too loud. I dunno, I KNOW he felt this because WE all feel it through him. It's like when you're hearing someone tell you a heart wrenching story and they start crying. We feel their pain so deeply that WE start crying. Teddy is able to relay this message SO WELL that we all feel it. Great reaction!

Teddy can do it all he does incredible covers that he makes his own from Marvin Gaye to the legendary Bill Withers to even Luther Vandross who nobody can do and you have to watch him do that cover it's hilarious and he's looking at his phone I'm not even sure he knew the song😅😅😅😅 I first found him when he sang with Allen Stone at the lodge but my first solo video of Teddy swims was Mario's cover and it's still one of my favorites😊😊😊😊 blessings from Toronto and I hope you Explore More of Teddy swims and I don't know if you ever reacted to Allen Stone but honestly he is worth a listen😊😊😊😊😊

The origin of the song:
The idea for the song came to Reid, after reading an article about a man arrested for getting drunk and shooting at his girlfriend's car.
The judge asked him if he had learned anything, to which he replied, "I learned, Your Honour, that you can't make a woman love you if she don't."
Raitt recorded the vocal in just one take in the studio, later saying that it was so sad a song that she could not recapture the emotion: "We'd try to do it again and I just said, 'You know, this ain't going to happen.'”
