I absolutely love the way that you can switch from just feeeeeling the music to being absolutely nerdy about the technique. I think this was most apparent on your video reacting to Yebba, My Mind. Beautiful. I've seen way too many people who simply nerd out without connecting to the emotion, and I've seen just as many who connect to the emotion but have nothing to say about technique. You have the perfect blend of connection and nerdiness. Well done.

Teddy is one of the few singers that sounds as good live as do his recordings and is a genuinely nice guy.
Being a Shania fan, you will love Teddy's cover. Right now, his "Lose Control" is #1 on a number of measures. Oh. My!
I always thought this song was about an unrequited love from afar, but hearing his version I realized it was about someone who's been in a one-sided relationship and they're just done with it... Not sure if that's just me not realizing or the different performance of the song, but I felt like this version hit me more than the original.
There's a short video of Teddy singing some Journey...he's full power, belting for all he's got. It is earth shattering impressive...a must see.

This is one of my favorite ballads of all time and Teddy's vocals are fantastic, but as a keyboardist, I actually like Bonnie Raitt's version better, mostly because of Bruce Hornsby piano part (and I also love Bonnie's smooth, understated and sad vocals). I've been thinking about making it my theme song because it perfectly describes my relationship history. 🤔

Have noticed myself how Angelina and Dimash link specific hand movements to various effects and the hand move to often mimics the effect. For example, they both flick off notes into space with a flick of tje wrist or fingers.

Beautiful voice. Oddly, I hear a touch of Chris Stapleton in some of his phrases with kind of a light Kenny Rogers feel but with lots of breathy goodness. Thank you for bringing Daphne onboard. The portion of the reaction where you detailed the positive potential for hand, arm and body movements made me think of something. In my own work as an amateur, I’ve found that for some reason, it helps my singing if I raise my hand up as though I were holding a mic. 🎤 I keep my fingers curled in that position, and sing as though it was in my hand. I’m not sure as to why, but I believe it gives my voice some direction, aim, and possibly a form of concentrating the sound.

I'm always amazed at your ability to analyze the singing of an artist(s)....one that I would love for you to check out is "The Prayer" by Pentatonix. Not their video...BUT, the LIVE version that they did on a Canadian TV show (TMS...The Morning Show) part of their Couch-Ella concert series...INCREDIBLE !!
