Good to see you finished the trip Harvey, looking forward to see the bits from your last post till now. Kudos to you for having the balls to take on such a journey. 👍👍👍👍
Hi Harvey, nice video and keep up the good work! Just subscribed. Fellow Brit here in the middle of doing my bike license in Australia, have a Yamaha WR450F and anyone who owns one of these knows it's near impossible to find pannier racks outside of the USA. The Kriega bags look like my best option, and your video has pretty much answered any questions I had! Nice work, and stay safe during this Covid-19 pandemic!
Dude, your the only video on the web talking about the base. Thank you for giving us a little insight to this thing. I’m contemplating if I should try this with my Nelson Riggs bags and get rid of my rack. I like the idea of moving things forward and inward. Them damn racks push everything into the trees! Happy trails.....
You have just saved me. Been trying to find something to fit on to my KTM. Perfect review and have looked them up and on order 👍. Cheers buddy great review.
Me and wife have been using OS-18 bags as tailbags for while with our crf250ls. Awesome bags, tying it down takes really just few seconds after couple times. I hooked couple 25mm nylon loops around subframe and through panel gaps instead of rear rack/kriega strap mounts, but still: damn awesome bags. Will definitely add base plate and additional OS-18(s) if we will need more luggage capacity.
Where have you been bud, been worried about you and here you are in Cape Town !!!! Taking about ya bloody panniers 😎 where's the rest of the trip gone, did we miss it !!!! ☺️☺️☺️ anyway glad your safe bro
Does the fuel level indication still work accurately with that new IMS tank? You're one of the only people i can find that has that tank on their bike. Thanks for the videos, mate!
thanks for the panniers review!! i am planning a similar trip to yours and this information really helps! are you selling your panniers by any chance? lol! i couldnt get the last things you said: youre gonna store the bike and come back in a year to get it? when are you returning home? also, how expensive are the plane tickets from south africa to england? do you have an approximate idea? thank you!!! how many countries did you cross? which one was the most difficult to get visa?
Glad all is well - looking forward to hearing all about your adventures!
Thanks TMF, in production of the full series atm

Looks sick on that bike, thanks for showing it off!
Good review I got the base as a gift and was wondering which bags to get for it OS-18s look like a good size
hi, did you have to drill holes in the back of the bike for rear mount points for the OS base, or did you just use your rear rack?
Love the luggage, but what happened to the journey between Ghana and Cape Town?
Do the bags damage or scuff the plastics underneath them?
Does the fuel level indication still work accurately with that new IMS tank? You're one of the only people i can find that has that tank on their bike. Thanks for the videos, mate!

Hey pal! Are you back in the uk?
Back in the UK, videos coming soon
Hi Harvey 👍 good on ya
Your chain bro!!!! It's dangerous
👍
How’s Cape Town boet go try The Dogs Bollocks restaurant
What's the mileage on your bike so far? Have you had any issues apart from the fuel tank one?
17k miles from the UK to South Africa, bikes done 22k miles total, just 2 punctures and the fuel leak, plus wear and tear items
That's great. Do you know what kind of mpg you're getting?
Good lesson in the perils of recording a vid on a windy day. 😉
