Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 8th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 4th tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Division 1 South East. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams...and not forgetting our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. Thank you Hashtag for making me aware of the Dettol competition, my team came 2nd and after a seriously hard start to life as a club it’s helped us massively so thank you again👊🙏
I think this would be my first ever Stadium to be in.

I'm glad Devs knows the side better than I do. I thought the half-time talk was a little harsh, but he knows that every side can grab a goal in a league with this amount of parity. Storming words from the skipper turn into a storming second half for the boys. Up the Tags!

He sees a lot more than we do to be fair, we get like 5-10 minutes worth of highlights (the good stuff) so we won’t see laboured play in the middle of the park, we get to see the good chances playing around the box.
devs reminds me of me when i am playing fm, where i still get disappointed at my team despite having way more shots on target than opposition but only got like 1 or 2 goals ahead of the opps

Massive congrats to HHH on his 100th appearance. I think i speak for everyone when i say, i love the addition of the stats. It would be great to get an all time competitive appearances, goals and assists page maybe on the website or a link in the description to a Google doc which is regularly updated. #UPTHETAGS
I've tried before to make a google doc with all time appearances but chapter 1 stats are tough to collect

Couple take aways
1.nutsy is turning it up…I had some questions about why Eli Benoit not back into the rotation.. nutsy putting in two goals may give him a run to stay in
2. Sam Bantick a real player… he checks a lot of the boxes
3.we have some really exciting young players with Carlos flood harry haysom and the cb I agree youth movement is big
4. Extend devs contract now… I can’t believe we secured a manager of that calibers… he’s team talks don’t miss too much

genuinely happy to see him playing better now. I disagree with Seb and Spen, I think he wasnt up to standard when hes joined but hes improved and these last few games really prove that, and I respect his desire to work back into the starting 11

@@yourmother1111 I didn't question his work rate and training, in fact if you read my comment you'll see I praised him for his work ethic to get back into the side. And yes, the highlights do not show every minute of the match however there where too many highlights of Sheenan making a mistake leading to a goal or chance conceded.
@Jethro Maris Seb wasn’t saying he’s been playing well since the very start, I think Seb did actually mention something about Nutsy’s poor start to the season. What Seb is referring to when he says unfair criticism, is the fact that every match he played in where hashtag dropped points, a large portion of hashtag fans would instinctively blame Nutsy, even when he clearly wasn’t the person at fault for hashtag’s failings.
It’s nice that he’s finally been able to put some top class performances together to silence his critics.
@@alexmiddleton2276 I can see what your getting at, and to an extent I would agree. However, I would consider criticism justified when he made direct mistakes that lead to points lost for the tags, whether that being a chance or a goal for the opposition.
Hashtag has come from so little, it’s a joy to watch, the lads have been playing great 💪🏽

The Nutsy criticism was unfair because it was way over the top. He didn't have a great start to the season and he was deservedly dropped. However, some of the hate he got was straight up shambolic and has no place at this club. People went on like he was the sole reason we were losing and it just wasn't true. We win as a team and we lose as a team.

Absolutely quality game from the CBs today! Haysom always has such a good quality about him and plays the ball way better than you would expect from a nonleague centerback while still making an impact defensively and in the air. Meanwhile, Nutsy, seemingly the ultimate lunch pail no nonsense player for hashtag, manages to get 2 goals and neither were with his head! Delighted for him especially after his poor start at the club and hoping to see much more from the boys!
Harry is a top defender class every game I watch. What a difference bantick and Hirst have made both make and finish goals. But shout out to Watson as since he's came been unreal proper midfielder and wins everything in the air 👍👍

too bad sheehan (nutsy) has been pretty terrible at the start of the season, then benoit joined the squad, did pretty well in his first game and had been starting with harry haysom as the 2 cb pairings until recently

It’s not very often I praise fans on YT comment sections but the majority noticed how well we were playing earlier in the season we just needed to sort the centre back and striker areas, the additions of Hirst and Banno with Benoit and the improvement by Haysom and now Nutsy shows. Credit to the club for these additions!!! Promotion push incoming!!!
