So question if you want to do 2 keys? Do you program the first key, then go back and add a 2nd one? Are these virgin keys locked perm to the car? Like Toyotas and they are as good as a paper weight for other cars? Program once to a car and perm locked?

no. actually, if it's oem it will always be programmable to the vehicle it is made for. if you want to progam any amount of keys, always do 2. as the system erases all keys every time you add or change. always add and add the next before exiting system.

@@UHSHardwareok thanks didn’t know if Nissan changed any of its programming with the ones that have a gateway. I was just reading what that particular programmer said in the programming instructions.

you will always need two keys to program Nissan Smart keys. also the Bypass Cable is necessary for all work on vehicles that require it.

I almost destroyed 1 by removing the bcm conecter wiv Autel car stoped working but later managed to fix it.

Please give me some more of the story, I want to be able to do these newer Nissans. Were you able to program one with the Autel and AD cable?

Yes wiv Bypass cable but it's very risky and only Add up to 21 I've done.

@@dashtyATGSmartPro is so dang expensive. I’ve done Chrysler with AD bypass no problem. That’s why I was wondering.
