- The second part of this insane story of the Nogai Horde, its hugbox, its enemies, and the insane experimental mod features we're all playing with. At the end of Part 1, the Nogai Horde (but mainly its allies: Poland-Lithuania, Hungary and Bohemia) had pushed Muscovy right up against the ropes, and held off the intervention of Scandinavia and Burgundy who tried to save the poor Russians from their surrounded fate. What will be the result and aftermath of this hugbox and partition? This episode features MUCH MORE brilliant salt and arguments as the dust settles from the war.
Playing the Dual Monarchy in this campaign, I will finally get involved in events instead of being a spectator. At least a little bit. Will those two alliances formed in part 1 stay together, or will there be tensions? How will the Nogai Horde, unprecedented to have this country played in multiplayer, progress? Will they form Tatarstan?

The game session for this happened quite a while ago, as of when I'm uploading it. The campaign was so bad I just forgot about it and left the footage in a folder, but after reminiscing on the campaign in a voice chat, I remembered it, and realised this story was actually hilarious, and I'm glad I did. (this was actually played on 9th November 2019) I can't let the fact that it's old prevent this hilarious session finally seeing the light of day.

The old infamous mod version which contains the Officers, download here for your experimental and curiosity purposes: github.com/God... The officers, as they were, were removed in the next version due to overwhelming demand and ridicule. The current iteration of this DoD multiplayer balance mod is pretty much unused and inactive now. There were many other crazy experimental features that we had to deal with, which we may see in the future. I also mention in this video that the mod contains revanchism changes: Revanchism is a stat that increases with the more cored territory you lose, and in the mod, this stat increases your soldier POP cap, and gives bigger mobilisation. So, if you lose land, you actually get stronger to bounce back.

@Dwarov 1How did that break the game though? It seemed to me that it added a lot of interesting diplomacy, and had the potential to make a very interesting game. What seemed to kill this game in particular was the fact people kept leaving.
@Dwarov 1 did you see the ending? Revanchism is the god tier buff for muscovy which kept plc pinned against them for the entire fucking game. If muscovy scandi and burgundy tried again id reckon that they could destroy the hugbox (if burgundy wasnt incompetent and scandi didnt lose his shit)
@Dwarov 1 They didn't kill Russia, they killed Muscovy, in a mod where it is far from assured that Russia will form. Scandi even said himself that he had plans to kill Muscovy. There is no stipulation in Vic 2 that any certain nation needs to exist, or be a gp, and in an mp there will always be players to fill the power vacuum. No Russia? Guess the other gp's have more to compete over.

Hugboxing is bad but experimenting with countries previously thought to be unviable is good.
Playing new nations is cool, frank didn’t do anything wrong it’s the Bohemia and Hungary players who made the alliance a hug box
Funny how Burgundy even after my horrible micro in the first war ended up the most stable and prosperous nation by the end of the game. If anyone noticed lanfang talking shit in the chat, have no worries, they were eventually conquered.

Please mix up the meta spud. With players playing new and different nations with varied endgames it changes the alliance dynamics. allowing more interesting and new situations. Also nogai should be able to form the golden hoard imo, which could be a good sub for Russia in game.
Nogai can form Tartarstan which is basically Golden Horde.

Poland did not get "nothing", he literaly just deleted one of his biggest rivals and got a loyal ally in his place. (probably loyal, am typing this at 2:11) I would not complain if I was in his place.

I'm fine with switching things up from time to time as long as there relatively the same power in the region IE which is not something that leaves many options

Scandi was awful.
Nogai should be playable if the player who picks it up understands the difficulty of it. I'm surprised BadFrank didn't stay on it and continue milking the salt mines just for existing.

How do I join a game?
I don't get why there was so much outcry, it seems simple to me on why Bohemia, PLC, and Nogai would want to ally. Bohemia needs a strong PLC to help counter others like Scandi and Burgundy, PLC's best interest is no Russia forming, and Nogai would just want to survive (also form Tartarstan). Seems reasonable to me and a good change of pace

All sides were pretty scummy here, but I sympathize with Muscovy the most. Scandi could have handled it better though I do kinda like what he did.
I'm g onna say that if there are rules, those must be followed, if it was for me at the place of PLC or DM I would had left the game instantly .... Ok it's a game but certain moves pisses me off 😒😒

The Scandinavian player should be banned out of principle. Continuously breaking the rules, knowing those rules were in place, whilst facing no consequence, de-legitimizes the whole structure of play. How can anyone take rules seriously if there are no consequences? what's the point in even having rules then? Basic sociology dictates he should be removed from these sessions indefinitely.
