What a great Man of God, I love this man very much, I love his testimony of Joseph Smith, How grateful I am for Joseph for all he sacrificed for us to have this Amazing Gospel today. These are the last days, this gift that is given us will bless us to have peace in the world to come.
The pillar of light was the end of the great apostasy and start of the restoration. The two physical beings was also important. It tells us there is no trinity. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are three separate beings. We also learn from the first vision that feelings of darkness and the adversary can be overcome when we call on God's name. We also learn we can receive instruction regarding what church to join (or not join). The moment of the first vision also confirms that Joseph Smith was a prophet of the restoration.
So many who are members already need this testimony also
