The Spirit of God like a fire is burning. Those that have the Spirit of God in them will know the Book of Mormon is true. Those that pretend or don't have it, will not. The Spirit speaks to my soul and I know it is true, and he has spoken to my mind and heart and I cannot deny it. I love Nephi and Moroni and the other prophets and missionaries in the book. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God just like Isaiah, Noah, and Moses are/were. Russell M. Nelson is our prophet today. God has always and I mean always worked through his prophet to his church and to all the world who will listen and read his words. Because of the Book of Mormon and the Priesthood of God, we have so many more blessings in this life than we would have with out it and all people are blessed because of it.
Just wondering why those close to Smith initially said it was the angel Nephi that delivered the plates???

I would add that Jesus told us how to identify false prophets. You simply look at their fruits (works). Here are some of the fruits of Joseph Smith: 1) coerced a 14 year old into marriage, 2) married at least 34 women, 3) many of the women he married were after he sent their husbands away on missions, 4) he brought forth the Book of Abraham that does not correspond to the facsimile, 5) he fell for the Kinderhook plate trap, stating that it was a descendant of Ham through the loins of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and that he received his kingdom from the rule of heaven and earth, 6) he believed himself to be greater than Jesus stating Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it (referring to keeping a church together). I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet." 7) Smith violated a whole assortment of federal and state laws... the list is nearly endless.

President Nelson, is a true Prophet. I received his word on gratitude, came and watched the video till the end and said Amen to all he payed about, I received a call from one of the Elders from my nearest branch, and told him this was that, I had listened to M Nelson, did not know who this man is, but enjoyed his talk on gratitude. I even confessed that I was a run away bird from the church, saying I can never get rid of LDS and wondered why they cared about me. On this day I answered their call.
I guess there is something divine that I felt, and continue to study with the Elders who are do patient. I am about be baptised and need all your prayers to help me start my journey with Christ, the head of the church and endure to the end.
We thank Thee O God for a prophet. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father gives us a prophet to lead us and guide us, in the paths of righteousness ~ just as Peter, James, and John did. 😊 They all follow in the steps of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Praise God for the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ!!!!😇🙏🌞
Prophets lead and guide us correctly except for when they don’t. I would’ve loved it if god would’ve led the early Mormon prophets to abhor the ideas of racism and segregation. I wish god would’ve made the prophets the leading light on the issue, taking a stand against the world condemning racism of any kind and in any way...instead the Mormon church and its apostles were behind the curve by quite some time regarding confirming to social change. What a bummer, those apostles had such a chance to show that they were truly lead by a god

I have read all of the new Testament & have studied its teachings. I love learning about the life of Christ. He is my Savior, Redeemer, & Judge. Yes, I served a full time mission 3 yrs after I was baptized. Again, I saw many mighty miracles!! There is nothing you can say to convince me that I am not on the right path. I KNOW I am!! I'm giving a lesson on this talk,it is so tempting to just play the video , but as I was praying , I had the impression that I had to teach the lesson because the person that needs to hear and understand the value of the Book of Mormon , which is priceless , needs to know that ! I would also add that had I known about the LDS Church history and it's continued coverup, I never would have served a mission, served in any callings, or paid one penny in tithing. I wish there were a way to get reimbursed for my time and money. They would owe me thousands.

When one wants to know the truth, Pray. My life is changing because I am. I really never took the challenge to read the whole Book of Mormon. Now, After, Praying, Pondering, reading, and watching videos about the scriptures I feel like I thrust for this knowledge. I am so thankful. This has been a blessing for me and my family.

I love the Book of Mormon and I love this message! I went through a week of doubt and darkness in the year 2022, wondering if there really was a God. It felt like my world crumbled. But during this time I watched the Book of Mormon videos, which later inspired me to read the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon shows us that there is a God and that His Son is real! And that They love us perfectly. They love you perfectly!

The book of mormon is the word of God...If you want to hear him and understand his hand in humanity...read the book of mormon and give yourself time to immerse in it and figure it out. Its not like other books many have read it hundreds of times and it never loses its value and richness..it is a well of light and knowledge that never ceases to give.

It's so refreshing to hear a prophet not be afraid to speak truth. After becoming the head of the church president Nelson announced that the restoration had not been completely restored as was once taught. That it was no longer necessary to be a high priest to enter the highest celestial glory, it took guts to undue revelation from 2 years earlier and reverse the LGBT decision from God . Knowing that the ban on blacks was not from God nor the once righteous practice of polygamy and polyandry is no longer required after this life to enter the highest celestial glory and become God's. In these last days, rather then doubling down on the 3 hour block etc. and all the mundane things the church once had us all doing, ( home teaching now home texting! And using the word "Mormon" is now evil). the Lord through his prophet announced that we can take it easier as we look toward the heavens in anticipation of His second coming. I love this church! It keeps us on our toes knowing God is always changing and not having to believe the same beliefs from generation to generation. My grandchildren will have a church much easier, more Christian, wealthier and not as much indoctrination as my generation or before.

Please wake up to truth of this falsehood. They preach a different Jesus, and a different gospel. Read. The. Bible. It contradicts the doctrine of "saved after all that you can do." This doctrine puts an impossible burden on your life.

Isnt it interesting that when comparing the value of this additional witness and knowledge of Jesus Christ, the King would use the worldly value of "rubies and diamonds". Did you know that under cross-polarized light (the closest thing we have to "pure light", diamond's and rubies, both, loose their brilliance and appear black? I came across this phenomenon while studying Revelation 21. Aparently “In the past century, it has been discovered that gems can be classified as either anisotropic or isotropic… When viewed in crossed-polarized light (similar to “pure” light), anisotropic stones produce a colourful array- reflecting all the colours of the rainbow, whereas isotropic stones lose all of their colour and appear black”. This makes Revelation 4:3 and Revelation 21 make more sense and why God would choose stones that would produce this affect to adorn His Holy City. I find it fascinating that the stones that this world considers most valuable, (diamonds & rubies) become worthless in "pure light". The riches of the world simply cannot compare to the riches of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and this additional witness of Christ we have in the Book of Mormon.
My life is quite enjoyable without it.

The church has 100 Billion, but still needs your tithing. Mind boggling to me. Maybe its so that they can continue to run the church now that people are beginning to see the light (truth) and leave. I guess Nelson's right when he says the end is near, but I think the context is the end of Mormonism, not the end of the world. The cracks of the LDS church foundation are growing and its a matter of time now. But that 100 Billion could be a really soft cushion to land on when it falls.

As A Mormon, I have been taught that we will receive more Scriptures.
Since then, I have discovered the True Book of Enoch, Jasher and Jubilees, 2nd Esdras, The War Scrolls and even a few treasure in the Nag Hammani Scriptures.
So to answer the question, what would I be like if not for the Book of Mormon, I would be just fine, the 66 books in the Bible are the corner stone of Scripture.
I don't understand why Mormons of all people rejected all of these Scriptures, that were good enough for Prophets to quote from, even Christ mentioned and quoted from these Scriptures that the Roman Catholic Empire has occulted(hidden)
I have discovered that Mormonism and the Occult World has more in common than with the early Christians. I know that this was is not something anyone wants to hear, but Brothers and Sisters, the Leadership has Aposticized, Joseph Smith Jr wouldn't even recognize the Church of today, and all Prophets who came before 1915, would all agree with Joseph.

Let’s use a little LDS doctrine here…. D&C 1:38 “whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.” So as a true believing Mormon, you have to believe that if the president of the LDS church says something, God himself said it. There is no way that you can say “well, he was just speaking for himself.” That is not what D&C 1:38 says. It is the same. J. Reuben Clark said, “[i]f we have the truth, [it] cannot be harmed by investigation. If we have not the truth, it ought to be harmed.” Gordon B. Hinkley added, “[e]ach of us has to face the matter - either the Church is true, or it is a fraud. There is no middle ground. Nelson reversed a decision to ban kids from LGBTQ relationships from all church ordinances, which he initially stated was revelation. So why, three years later, would he again say it was revelation to undo what he helped create? Again evidence that Mormon prophets are not guided and directed by God and are thereby false prophets. Therefore, the only logical conclusion that one can make is that the entire LDS Church is a fraud, as explained by multiple LDS leaders.

This is a perfect example here in Russell's talk about people believing in things without good reason. So Nielsen reads him passage out of some book he's never heard of and he goes on to just entirely believe it? This isn't the proper way to believe things for good reasons. Shouldn't he first examine the book, study out what this book is, read about it's history, looks at the evidences or lack of evidences for this book, examine who wrote it, how it came about, etc...Doing these steps is the proper way to be a healthy skeptic. Doing this helps prevent us from believing in untrue things like snake oils, and tricksters, and con artists, or even another religion that isn't true like Scientology right? This man is read a scripture and he just BELIEVES. This is unreasonable to me.
