That has been a gm thing for years. My 2016 2500hd did the same thing last year. It was passenger side door harness that was the worst of the 2. Mind you this truck now has 240 thousand on it. Corrosion was so bad had to rewire at that door junction.
Hey, I’ve got a 2022 Ford and had a bunch of issues with it in the last 16 months of ownership. Quality control is lacking with all manufacturers now I guess.
the factory robots were upgraded with AI and the first thing they did was go on strike... don't worry, the new part will magically be better than the old part

The issue was the harness in the door. Dealer ordered in the parts, it’ll be repaired next Friday. I cleaned the connector and everything is working.
